But Emily Ratajkowski surely stole all of the attention.

The 25-year-old model absolutely scintillated as she arrived for a dinner honoring the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Emily cut a racy figure at the gala event, which was hosted by director Brett Ratner, in a red number.

The Blurred Lines music video star's intricate frock featured a very low-cut neckline which showed off her cleavage.

As if that wasn't enough, her halter dress also featured a completely backless design which flashed plenty of skin including sideboob.

The number was adorned in blinged out jewels down the chest and along the hemline as well as along piece of fabric which drooped down. 

She teamed the look with a pair of strappy red leather stilettos as she accessorised with rings and diamond studded earrings.

Her brunette tresses were pulled back and tucked behind her ear as she let her natural looks show with complimentary make-up topped off with pink lip.

Emily was quite the social butterfly at the event as she posed for a snap with actress Katharine McPhee who looked great in an patterned black number.

Meanwhile, The Emily has expanded her career to include both modeling and acting.

She is expected to appear in two upcoming films, with one set for release this year and the other at a date not yet announced.

Emily will star in the romance film, Cruise, and the thriller, In Darkness. The latter will include Natalie Dormer.

Katharine McPhee became a fan favourite as the clean-cut American Idol runner-up who went on to find further fame as an actress.

The 32-year-old entertainer showed a whole new, wildly sexual side of herself on Thursday with a truly steamy performances on Lip Sync Battle.

Katharine raised a shocked response from the audience as she started shaking her behind in tight black shiny pants as she danced seductively for Mystikal’s smash hit Shake It Fast, wearing a giant gold chain and pulling out dollar bills from her bra.

Then when rival competitor Jason Derulo, 26, tried to one-up her by stripping off his shirt while lip syncing to Ginuwine’s Pony, Katharine again refused to be outdone - coming right up to him and lifting her white T-shirt right up to show equally impressive abs.

But it was all just a tease for her super-charged sexual final performance with her admitting to a ‘sneak attack’ by writhing around to Jason’s own hit, Want to Want Me.

Mimicking parts of his video, she started in a bath wearing a skimpy white silk corset, soon moving over to a bed onstage even licking one of the bed’s posts seductively.

But she then shocked everyone even more by wrapping her legs around a shirtless male dancer - then straddling him on bed and finally jumping up and wrapping her legs around his head in a highly suggestive manner.

‘I’ve been known to get down in clubs,’ she smiled, while even Jason admitted of her performances: ‘I’m shocked, I had to pick up my jaw from the floor.’

Asked what she thought, Katharine referenced her rival’s super tight outfit as she joked: ‘I’m trying to keep my eyes up here and not down there.’

Jason also had the show’s so-called ’colorful commentator,’ supermodel Chrissy Teigen, blushing as LL asked after his performance of Pony: ‘Chrissy, doesn’t every girl want a pony?’

Later, she joked that she was glad husband John Legend was not at the show for once, smiling: ‘Just saying he’s not here, if you want to hang out with Katharine and I.’

Katharine, who was runner-up her season of American Idol to Taylor Hicks, had complained at the ‘unfair advantage’ of so many women being in the audience - and seemed genuinely surprised to get the loudest cheers at the end to make her the winner.

‘I never win anything - I was on a show where I lost so I finally won something!’ she smiled as the winner’s boxing-style belt was strapped around her waist.

Katharine McPhee returned to American Idol with a show-stopping performance on Thursday.

The season five runner-up made a guest appearance on the FOX singing competition to reprise her iconic rendition of Somewhere Over The Rainbow.

The singer earned raves for her stunning performance of the Judy Garland classic while a contestant on the show in 2006.

And she again gave a pitch-perfect rendition of the song as she took to the stage in an ethereal pink gown on Thursday.

The performer, who turned 32 on Friday, wore her brunette hair down as she gave it her all while dramatic stage fog swirled around her.

Her pretty dress featured a structural bodice and a sheer skirt with tiered ruffles.

The singer's show-stopping performance earned her a standing ovation from judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick, Jr.

The former Smash star's original version of the Wizard Of Oz song was widely praised as one of the best American Idol performances ever.

Former Idol judge Simon Cowell picked the song for her at the time, saying: 'I knew from the very first day I met Katharine that this song is probably the most perfect song in the world for her.'

Pop star Sia also appeared on Idol on Thursday, and was moved to tears as she coached the contestants through their performances of her hit songs.

The 'Farewell Season' of the long-running reality show is bringing back some of its biggest stars for the grand finale, with Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Chris Daughtry and Jordin sparks all set to return.

CBS renews eleven shows including 2 Broke Girls, Blue Bloods and Elementary

CBS has renewed eleven veteran series.

The top-rated TV network announced on Thursday which shows will return for the 2016-2017 season, although it has left all its freshman series, including Supergirl, in limbo.

Comedies Mom and 2 Broke Girls were renewed, along with long-running reality shows Survivor and The Amazing Race.

They're back: CBS has renewed eleven shows for the 2016-2017 season, including sitcom 2 Broke Girls, staring Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs

On the drama side, Blue Bloods, Elementary, Hawaii Five-O, Madam Secretary, NCIS: Los Angeles, and Scorpion have all been renewed for next season.

CBS had already picked up hit shows The Big Bang Theory and NCIS.

However, the network did not give any word on the fate of drama Criminal Minds.

New season: Tea Leoni in Madam Secretary, which was picked up for another seaons

Action: Hawaii Five-O stars, from left, Scott Caan, Alex O'Loughlin, Grace Park, and Daniel Dae Kim will also be back

Partners: Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu will return for another season of Elementary

One of the show's stars, actor Shemar Moore, announced Wednesday that he was stepping away from his role as Derek Morgan in order to seek more balance in his life.

The future of the crime thriller could also be linked to new spin off Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, which debuted this month.

The network previously announced it was ending Melissa McCarthy's sitcom Mike& Molly as well as final seasons for critically-acclaimed drama The Good Wife and formerly top-rated show Person of Interest.

The network has yet to announce the fate of Patricia Arquette's CSI: Cyber or Matthew Perry sitcom The Odd Couple.

Cop drama: Tom Selleck stars as New York Police Commissioner and patriarch Frank Reagan on Blue Bloods

Crack team: Katharine McPhee drama Scorpion will also return to CBS

In limbo: Criminal Minds has yet to be renewed, after fan favorite Shemar Moore announced he was leaving the show

Family: Anna Faris-Allison Janney comedy Mom has also been renewed. CBS already announced its hit The Big Bang Theory would be back too

Up in the air: The network has yet to announce the fate of any of its new shows, including the much-hyped Supergirl

CBS is still deciding which of its new shows will be back for a second season, including Supergirl, which debuted this year to huge hype.

New family comedy Life in Pieces and medical drama Code Black are still up for renewal or cancellation, as is spin-off Criminal Minds: Beyond Boarders.

And the future of new show Limitless, which had an appearance from producer Bradley Cooper this week, is also still uncertain.

CBS is currently the top-rated US television network among total viewers.
