It was the night to celebrate the stars of classical music and all the attendees made sure they dressed in their most elegant attire for the occasion. 
Paving the way for the glitz and glam on the red carpet was Samantha Barks, who turned up in a flirty black and gold bandeau prom dress at the Royal Albert Hall event on Wednesday night.
The 23-year-old Les Miserables actress looked stunning in her printed dress which she teamed with a pair of gold strappy sandals.

Her ensemble showed off her super slender frame whilst she pinned her brunette locks up into a neat bun and finished the look off with dramatic smoky eye make-up and pink lip gloss. 
It was a doubly special day for Samantha as she was not only celebrating the achievements of all the talented musicians, but it was also her birthday, and on the night the pretty brunette even performed songs from Les Misérables along with co-star Alfie Boe.

The ceremony, hosted by pianist extraordinaire Myleene Klass, and also saw performances from Chinese superstar pianist Lang Lang duetting with Nicola Benedetti, Joseph Calleja, Ludovico Einaudi, Australian saxophonist Amy Dickson and the debut performance from Gareth Malone's Voices choir.
Also making an appearance was Venus actress Jodie Whittaker, who looked elegant in a floor-length black gown.
She teamed the looks with a pair of strappy black sandals, black clutch bag whilst scraping her blnde locks back into a tight bun.

Newsreader Selina Scott proved she's still got it at 62-year-old, looking stunning in a slinky black gown, embellished with a large silver bow.
Keeping her blonde fringe out, she tied the rest of her locks back in bun whilst wearing a pair of glitzy drop earrings.
At the awards Lang Lang received the International Artist award, while the late tenor Luciano Pavarotti posthumously received the Lifetime Achievement award, which was accepted by his widow Nicoletta Mantovani.

She arrived on the red carpet with legendary Spanish tenor Jose Carreras.
Fellow opera star Natalie Coyle looked stunning in a floral Stacey Bendet for Alice + Olivia number, with her hair styled in short curls.
Her appearance at the ceremony came as she announced she would be making her first England international performance at the England v Fiji Rugby League World Cup match on Saturday 9th November at Hull.

Fresh from the jungle Helen Flanagan was on hand in a plunging black gown to honour British Troops.
Philip Schofield and Amanda Holden were hosting the annual event established to honour 'the bravest of the brave'.
The jungle princess, 22, gave her own salute to our boys in a square necked plunging black gown with lashings of pink lipstick and a classy string of pearls.

Her blonde hair was pulled back in a tight bun as her deep tan from her time in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here shone.
With her nude shoes and bag Helen looked at ease on the red carpet with her deep tan, far from her anxiety in the jungle.
Also known as The Millies or the Night of Heroes. Patron The Prince Of Wales usually attends. Judges include Jeremy Clarkson, Frank Lampard, Mark Cavendish, Andy McNab and Myleene Klass. Royals and others also graced the red carpet.

And other celebrities certainly pulled out all the stops with Myleene Klass looking ravishing in a peach ruffled gown which accentuated her curvy figure.

The mother-of-two took the crowds breath away in her gown and her curls pulled away from her neck, showing off her deep tan.
Model Elle MacPherson took the event, held at The Imperial Museum, to a new level in her chic ball gown.
Her fishtail dress, made by Suzanne Neville, had a sweetheart neckline, it had a ruched bodice in black chiffon over champagne satin, and a full skirt in organza flowers.

Singer and TV personality Myleene was among the judges who decided the winners of tonight’s awards.
The 34-year-old said that, as a 'Navy brat', she was honoured to have taken part in what she described as a difficult task.
Speaking on the red carpet, she said: 'How do you choose? The difficult thing is that you already know they are going to get up on the stage and say they were just doing their job.

Thousands of people vote in the awards, honouring wounded soldiers and the ceremony, which is also known as The Millies, attracts royalty. 
Olympic royalty was also present with Strictly star and cyclist Victoria Pendleton hitting the red carpet in a sleek red satin dress with trail.

Victoria opted for a red silk Suzanne Neville satin bias cut dress with a high neckline with diamante detail and a sheer back with chiffon train.
The gown was slashed to the bottom of her back and accessorised with silver pins it complimented the athletes toned body perfectly.
Celebrities mingled with soldiers ahead of the star-studded ceremony which is set to aired on ITV this evening at 9pm.

Hundreds of gleeful troops were posting their excitement on Twitter, even Dragon's Den Duncan Bannatyne wrote: 'On way to The Sun Military Awards & looking forward to hob nobbing with out true Hero's.'
The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall were joined by celebrities, Olympians and top models tonight for the most glamorous military awards of the year.
Most of the celebrities opted for chic black glamour but Amanda Seyfried, in town for the Les Miserable premiere, looked positively ethereal in her floaty lilac gown.

Charles and Camilla arrived at the Sun Military Awards on a cold but proud night at the Imperial War Museum in south London in a silver Bentley.
The event, also known as the Millies or Night of Heroes, brought together the cream of the crop from the world’s of cinema, sport, television and fashion.
