But on Friday evening Little Mix decided to up their game somewhat showing that they have come a long way from their days on X Factor as they celebrated Leigh-Anne Pinnock’s 22nd birthday.

And leading the way the birthday girl looked both stylish and sexy as she hit 55 Club in London alongside her equally glamorous and sophisticated looking bandmates.

Seventies siren: Leigh- Anne looked stunning a black dress featuring gold detail around the plunging neckline

Looking excited for her evening out the singer slipped on the strapless black frock which featured a split up the thigh and a plunging neckline with gold detailing.

Creating a seventies inspired look she wore her hair in big bouncy curls and added a pair of gold hoop earrings.

She certainly wasn’t the only member of the group to show some skin though – newly engaged Perrie Edwards opted for a dress with a plunging neckline.

Strike a pose: The group looked less of a girl band and more of a woman band as they posed outside the venue

Close: The group showed just how close they are and that they really are friends as well colleagues

Slinky: Perrie ditched her usual style for something far more slinky which looked stunning on her

The black frock fell to the middle of her calves and while it did show off her cleavage she managed to remain looking chic.

Jesy Nelson, who has become known for being the most daring in the group when it comes to fashion, turned heads in her leather outfit.

The pretty star wore a skintight pencil skirt with a matching bandeau style top which revealed a glimpse of her cleavage and her midriff.

Adding a touch of colour to the group was Jade Thirlwell, who opted for a fun blue jumpsuit which featured cut-out sections around the side.

Completing her look she wore bright blue eye-shadow, while her hair fell in loose waves around her shoulders and down her back.

Ahead of their evening the group took to Twitter to wish Leigh-Anne happy birthday.

Jade kicked things off writing: ‘Happy birthday to one of the most beautiful,kind,talented girls I know! So proud to be part of ur life, love you long time Pocahontas xjadex’

While Perrie added: ‘Happy birthday Leigh Leigh (Pocahontas) my beautiful sister! I love you more than anything! Hope you have the best birthday ever! Perrie <3’

Delighted with her messages of good will, Leigh wrote: ‘Thank you so much mixers and my beautiful girls for the bday messages I love u all so much! Now time to party! X :D @55ClubLondon leigh x’

The night out comes after Little Mix announced the title of the new alum - Salute - which will be released November 11. Their new single Move will precede it on November 3.

Leigh –Anne was joined at her party by fellow X Factor stars MK-1, while their close friends from the show Union J opted to attend the Fright Nights VIP launch at Thorpe Park instead.

The boy group posed up before trying out the live-action mazes, created with Lionsgate UK, based on some of the world’s most iconic films such as the Blair Witch Project and The Cabin In The Woods.

She's impressed on the fashion front week after week during her stint on The X Factor so far.

So it's no wonder Nicole Scherzinger was asked to model the UK's first Twitter dress at the launch of EE - the new 4G mobile network.

On Thursday evening the 34-year-old made an eye-catching entrance in the unique dress at the event held at Battersea Power Station.

Nicole's stunning haute couture dress is constructed from 8 meters of the finest French silk chiffon, laden with over 500 Swarovski crystals and over 2,000 LED lights, which lights up to spell out Tweets sent in by fans in real time throughout the evening (via @EE and #tweetthedress).

The gown was created by leading interactive fashion design agency Cute Circuit, whose clients include U2 and Katy Perry.

So as not to distract from the gown, Nicole kept her hair loose falling down her back and her make-up was simple.

Clearly excited about wearing the dress, Nicole tweeted:'I've been asked to wear the UK's first ever twitter dress tonight for the @EE Launch Party @BatterseaPowerStation #tweetthedress So EXCITED!'

The X Factor judge also performed a number of her popular hits including the Pussy Cat Dolls' Don't Cha, as well as her new single.

Nicole's not the only one who took to the stage at the event, world-renowned digital Magician Marco Tempest and DJ Yoda also made sure the night went off with a bang.

A host of celebrities attended, not wanting to miss out on the momentous launch.

Pop princess Pixie Lott arrived looking pretty in pearls, with an overcoat and red briefcase style bag.

Fellow pop star Dione Bromfield made an entrance in a cropped lace top revealing her stomach and a pair of tight leather trousers.

Made In Chelsea: Cheska Hull and Gabriella Ellis both opted to wear black for the occasion

Tangoed: TOWIE stars Sam and Billie Faiers arrived with former co-star Harry Derbidge

Reality stars: Sam and Billie both dressed to impress in flattering outfits and up dos

Made In Cheslea stars Gabriella Ellis and Cheska Hull glammed up in all black ensembles for the event hosted by James Nesbit.

They weren't the only reality stars to attend, loved-up TOWIE couple Tom Kilbey and Lydia Bright were there too.

The usually glamorous Lydia looked understated in a checked trouser suit, which she gave a quirky twist to with a large fur Russian style hat.

Their co-stars Sam and Billie Faiers arrived with a very tanned looking Harry Derbidge.

MK1: Former X Factor contestants MK1 looked happy as they struck a pose

X Factor rejects MK1 showed up in their in usual urban style of clothing and looked typically excitable.

A projection show was created using the very latest ‘4D’ technology to beam the light show across the entire 8,000 square meters façade of the former power station after a specifically built screen which was constructed between the iconic chimneys.

The spectacular was accompanied by a pulsating score, exclusively composed by critically acclaimed scratch DJ, DJ Yoda.

As a former member of the Pussycat Dolls, Nicole Scherzinger was never afraid to put her best assets on display.

And stepping back in time, Nicole showed off and out as she stripped down to celebrate her X Factor contestant Rylan Clark's 24th birthday on Wednesday evening.

The 34-year-old left little to imagination as she partied at Mahiki nightclub in a cleavage baring outfit.

Nicole bared all in a red PVC corset which had black frilled trimmings with a pair of tiny shorts.

Fishnet tights, elbow length gloves and jewel embellished stilettos completed her daring look.

Allowing her dark locks to flow down her shoulders in loose curls, Scherzinger was joined in the racy costume department by fellow judge Tulisa Contostavlos.

The 24-year-old channeled a Dutch maid as she wore a black and red fastened top with a black skirt.

With fake blood pouring down her neck Tulisa applied a heavy coating of dark eye-shadow to fit in with the Halloween theme.

The Young singer was seen pretending to bite Nicole as they messed around on the dance floor while Scherzinger tried not to pop out of her top.

Looking forward to the evening ahead Tulisa tweeted: 'On my way2 @RylanClark's birthday party+celebrating the release of sight of you video.fancy dress!'

Doing little to cover up, she finished her look with a pair of tights and black open toe heels.

Showing off his fake tanned stomach, the birthday boy spruced up the outfit with some blood make-up.

He was joined by his partner in crime Lucy Spraggan, who dressed up as a pumpkin.

District 3, who seemed to be donning matching Satan outfits, and Union J, who all came wearing bloody nurse's uniforms from Angels Fancy Dress.

James Arthur and Kaye Sones also helped the lad celebrate his birthday, dressed in black costumes that seemed to resemble a bin bag more than a scary character.

The X Factor hopefuls were spotted drinking and dancing at the nightclub, also favoured by Prince Harry, until the early hours of the morning.
