They were attending the same fashion party alongside a star-studded crowd. 

But Jenna-Louise Coleman and Laura Whitmore opted for very different ensembles as they strutted their stuff at the Lulu Guinness: Paint Project launch at London's Old Sorting Office venue on Thursday night. 

Going head-to-head in the sartorial stakes in a pretty versus punky showdown, the Doctor Who star looked effortlessly chic in a fun and flirty floral dress as she posed up a storm on the red carpet.

The 27-year-old actress teamed her pretty tea dress with a stylish tassel-detail shrug, while teetering on a pair of skyscraper wide-strap heels. 

Jenna-Louise toted a Lulu Guinness clutch bag and completed her look with natural make-up to accentuate her stunning features, while wearing her shiny brunette locks in bouncy curls around her shoulders. 

Opting for a completely different direction with her look, Laura opted for a punky vibe to her ensemble, showing off a fair amount of thigh in a daring leather skirt with a soaring slit up one side.

Keeping the rest of her ensemble relatively simple, the 28-year-old TV presenter teamed her vampy skirt with a low-key white T-shirt, gold pendants and towering black ankle strap wedge heels.

Opting for her signature eyeliner flicks and berry lips, the Irish beauty wore her blonde locks tumbling in loose waves around her shoulders. 

Joining the stylish duo on the red carpet at the Lulu Guinness bash as the British fashion label launched its collaboration with Beautiful Crime and their artist Joseph Steele was Zoe Hardman, who showed off her toned and tanned pins in a sheer white top and flirty nude shorts.

The party may have been to celebrate men's fashion but Jesse Metcalfe's fiancée Cara Santana made sure all eyes were on her on Sunday night. 

The aspiring actress commanded attention in a tiny black top, which she teamed with a white pencil skirt by Alexander Wang to devastating effect. 

As well as showing off plenty of skin, thanks to her plunging satin blouse, Cara's figure-hugging skirt boasted cut-out detailing down the side seams.

She added a pair of fierce back gold Jimmy Choo heels for the evening, which was hosted by the luxury shoe label and Esquire magazine. 

The bash, held at 5 Hertford street, Mayfair, was thrown in conjunction with the London Collections fashion event, celebrating the best of British style for men. 

It seems that Cara had a great time at the party and posted a message thanking the hosts on her Twitter page.

The pair joined a whole host of fashionable bods at the event including Oona Chaplin, Thandie Newton and Victoria Pendleton.

David Gandy attended a lot of shows during the day, looking effortlessly stylish as always in a Reiss suit. 

And if his good looks and fashion sense weren't enough to make a big entrance, he enjoyed being driven around in a Morgan three-wheel car.
