Saturdays star Vanessa White flaunted her curves in a plunging white floor-length gown as she led the glamour at a charity ball on Thursday.

The 25-year-old singer looked stunning in the form-fitting dress as she arrived at the Caudwell Children Butterfly Ball at Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

She was joined by other celebrities including Rachel Stevens, Penny Lancaster, Rod Stewart and Mark Wright at the prestigious event which was headlined by Lionel Richie.

Vanessa paired her elegant white dress with stilettos and added a splash of colour with bright red lipstick and lime green nail polish.

The brunette beauty styled her hair in loose waves and accentuated her natural beauty with dramatic eye make-up.

Rachel also opted for a floor-length gown with a mesh top and embellished detailing paired with a navy blue skirt.

The annual ball raises millions of pounds to help change the lives of disabled children living in the UK.

Her performance may have been later in the night, however Alexandra Burke made sure to make an impression from the offset when she arrived at The Savoy Hotel in London on Thursday.

The singer opted for a showstopping fishtail gown as she walked the red carpet ahead of WellChild's Helping Hands charity dinner.

With her hair tied back into a voluminous ponytail, the 25-year-old undoubtedly turned heads in the number, which featured a plunging design at the back.

Tweeting ahead of the bash, the former X Factor star wrote: 'Very excited for tonight - to perform at the #HelpingHands dinner! @WellChild @TheSavoyLondon'.

Her floor-length gown, which clung in all the right places, included a glamorous pattern and statement shoulders.

Not content with just the dress, Alexandra added a pair of statement drop earrings and a chunky watch to complete her look.

Also at the bash was Rod Stewart and his wife Penny Lancaster, who enjoying a night off from looking after their two young children.

While the rocker opted for a dark suit and neck scarf, the model wowed in a floral dress, complete with tiered frills along the front.

The 43-year-old toughed up her look with a black leather jacket and silver cross, before finishing off with a metallic clutch and pointy heels.

Also at the event, which raises money for WellChild nurses who provide support to sick children in the UK, was Laura Hamilton, her boyfriend Alex Goward and actress Sarah Barrand.

She’s seen some pretty extravagant dresses over the years as the host of Strictly Come Dancing.

But when it comes to her own style Tess Daly knows that less is often more, particularly when it comes to embellishment.

And proving just that, the 44-year-old stole the show in a simple black frock as she hosted the WellChild Awards, alongside her husband Vernon Kay, on Wednesday at the Dorchester Hotel in London.

Looking like the belle of the ball Tess wore the strapless black prom style dress featuring a tulle skirt.

Elongating her long and slim legs she slipped on a pair of nude heels, while she carried a small black clutch.

Her blonde locks looked particularly sleek and fell in a side parting down her shoulder – adding an extra touch of glamour to her smoky eyes.

Beside her husband Vernon looked very dapper in a blue suit which he teamed with a purple tie.

Ahead of the ceremony Vernon took to Twitter and wrote: ‘Hosting the WellChild awards this evening. Emotional.’

The couple were in good company as Prince Harry, who is patron of the charity, was on hand to meet all of the winners at the award ceremony which recognises exceptional youngsters.

In contrast Made In Chelsea star Cheska Hull wore a white dress which showed off her deep tan.

WellChild is the national charity for sick children and is committed to ensuring that every child inthe UK, no matter what their situation, location or diagnosis, has the best possible quality of care.

The charity, which has Prince Harry as its patron, funds a unique team of WellChild Children’s Nurses who play an essential role for families across the UK by helping to ensure that children can be cared for at home rather than in hospital where possible.
