Sheridan Smith at the Royal Television Society Programme Awards + Sair Khan, Tisha Merry, Keeley Hawes, Claudia Winkleman and Jodie Whittaker

Sheridan Smith keeps new tattoo firmly under wraps as she arrives at the Royal Television Society Programme Awards in plunging black gown

She took a committed step forward in her relationship with Hollyoaks actor Greg Wood this week by getting a sentimental tattoo.
But Sheridan Smith kept her new ink hidden from view on the red carpet at the Royal Television Society Programme Awards in London on Tuesday night.
The 33-year-old actress looked stunning in a plunging black gown as she arrived at the awards, where she is nominated for the Female Actor prize.

The actress is competing against Georgina Campbell for Murdered By My Boyfriend and Sarah Lancashire for Happy Valley in the Female Actor category, thanks to her critically acclaimed lead role in ITV's drama Cilla.
As well as her booming acting career, Sheridan has been keeping busy with her new romance.
The star was spotted at a tattoo parlor recently with her actor boyfriend Greg, where they proved their commitment to each other by getting matching ink.
Greg and Sheridan designed their own 'All In' pair of aces, which Sheridan had inked on her ribs, while Greg went for pride of place on his upper arm.

For BAFTA and NTA winning actress Sheridan, she had the poignant words 'Gregory's Girl' written above a card in the suit of hearts.
Greg - who is currently going through a divorce- had 'My Sheri Amour' tattooed on his shoulder, a sign that they both see a long future in their current relationship.
The pair were first seen together at Liverpool’s Smugglers Cove restaurant on January 15, after apparently striking up a bond during an exchange of flirty Twitter messages in November 2014.
