That day the first look at Spider-Man: Homecoming's villain Vulture was revealed in the form of concept art, which was also shared to the film's official Twitter account.
In it the young superhero could be seen battling an armored, winged foe sporting dark shades of grey, black, and olive green.
Casting for Vulture has not yet been confirmed, though Entertainment Weekly noted that it has been rumored to be Michael Keaton, who is an official member of the cast.

'Vulture’s the first real villain in the Spider-Man comics,' the director said, adding: 'He’s in the second issue. He’s one of the classics from the best rogues’ gallery out there, and we’ve never seen him, he’s never been brought to life.'
The publication also revealed that the upcoming Marvel flick is reminiscent of John Hughes' classics, as Spider-Man navigates high school.
Spider-Man: Homecoming, which features Tom, 20, as the titular web-slinging hero, is set to hit theaters on July 7, 2017.

Zendaya confirms role in Spider-Man as she reveals her auditioning process on The Ellen DeGeneres Show

'I worked hard to be in that movie!' Zendaya confirms role in Spider-Man as she reveals her auditioning process on The Ellen DeGeneres Show

She might be a star on the stage but Zendaya is an unproven talent as an actress.
The 19-year-old revealed, while appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, that she had to audition multiple times to be in the next Spider-Man movie.
And while Zendaya was able to confirm her participation in the film she did not want to discuss details about the highly secretive process beyond the work she put in to finally be cast.

'I can't say anything else other than I'm going to be in it,' she said confirming her role in the reboot..
'It's very exciting,' she gushed before discussing her foray into a film.
'When it comes to the acting space, I'm basically unknown. I've never been in a real movie before or anything like that, so I had to start from the bottom like anyone else,' she explained.

'I auditioned and auditioned and auditioned and [broke] down those walls because a lot of people do have that pre-conceived notion of who I am based off previous things I've done, so you got to really break that down and go hard, put in the work, take all the meetings, take all the auditions.'
Tom Holland plays Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the upcoming film, a role previously played by both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
The new movie will be directed by Jon Watts of Cop Car fame.

If Famous Superheroes and Villains Appeared in 16th-Century Flemish Paintings

Superheroes don't typically sit for portraits. Nor do villains or sci-fi stars. It's probably the whole gotta-save-or-destroy-the-world thing. But with his new series, Super Flemish, photographer Sacha Goldberger imagines how these famous characters would have looked had they indeed taken time to be painted, in this case, as 16th-century Flemish models.
Working with an enormous team of actors, hair and makeup artists, costume designers, and digital imaging specialists, Goldberger captured the series over a course of eight months. The resulting portraits cast each master of the universe as a Renaissance figure, outfitted in luxurious fabrics and Elizabethan ruffs.
The photos, explains Goldberger, intend to "illustrate the nobility and fragility of the super-powerful and reveal their humanity" and to highlight and celebrate the superheroes, who live "cloaked in anonymity."
