As a popular model and actress she's known for her fantastic figure.

And Kelly Brook, 33, certainly isn't afraid to make the most of what she's got.

The star has posed for some underwater shots in a figure-hugging mermaid costume to raise awareness for charity fresh2o.

Underwater beauty: Kelly Brook has modelled as a mermaid for charity fresh2o's effort to commemorated World Water Day and their bid to highlight the global water crisis which is killing up to 5,000 children around the globe every day

Kelly has squeezed her impressively long legs into a tight green and white tail which appears to add inches upon inches onto her height.

The new Celebrity Juice team captain flashes her toned stomach and has her midriff on show as she hangs onto a pillar which looks like it could be part of an underwater ruin.

The actress completed her look by wearing just a bra on top while she wore a large gold chain around her neck.

The pictures were taken by top photographer Candice who specialises in underwater images.

In addition to Kelly, Candice snapped other celebrities such as Keira Knightley, Lily Cole and Kimberley Stewart.

The pictures were taken to commemorate World Water Day on March 22 which aims to highlight the global water crisis that is killing 5,000 children each day and leaving over 2.6 billion impoverished people without fresh water and sanitation.

Photographer Candice is pleased to have been able to work with Kelly and her fellow stars having spent time in poverty-stricken areas of Africa as a child.

On working on the campaign, she said: 'I promised myself when I grew up I would help underprivileged children.

'The answer is access to safe water and sanitation.'
