It may be one of the mildest winters the UK has seen in years, but Pixie Lott was out on Saturday to enjoy an unexpected 'snowfall' in London.
The singer looked thrilled as she sped down a snowy slope in a large rubber ring, hurtling her way downhill at Alexandra Palace Park in the north of the capital.
However, Londoners needn't be alarmed at this mysterious sudden winter weather, as it was created artificially.

Despite the winter fakery, though, families flocked to the location to enjoy the white stuff along with the Strictly Come Dancing star.
Pixie looked sweet as she played around in the faux snow, hopping into a large rubber ring and laughing as she sped down the slope repeatedly.
The blonde star made sure to wrap up warm for her day of fun, despite the weather sitting at a somewhat balmy and unseasonable 10 degrees.
Teaming a chic, tailored pastel blue coat with a cosy, fluffy scarf, her enviable slim pins were on full display in a pair of sheer black tights and flattering knee-high ankle boots.

She kept her blonde tresses down, her locks billowing behind her as she mucked about with a smile on her face.
The snow was created as a part of Land Rover's winter Hibernot campaign, which celebrates the great British outdoors and encourages people across the country to get involved with activities outside, even in the winter, and to stop hibernating indoors.
And the star, who celebrates her 24th birthday on Monday, looked in great spirits as she played with children and families who had congregated at the unlikely winter wonderland, indulging in snowball fights and sledging.
Having fun on the day, Pixie admitted she loves it when the weather drops and the snow falls.

'Finally we have snow in London! This is definitely my favourite time of year. I love getting dressed up in lots of layers and heading out for long walks and bike rides,' she said.
Indeed, she just enjoyed some real snow, as she spent the New Year break on a skiing trip to Verbier, Switzerland, alongside her model boyfriend Oliver Cheshire.
Pixie enjoyed her morning on the slippery slopes alone, after spending the previous evening at a fashion event with her long-term boyfriend.
The gorgeous couple had attended the ShortList and Marks & Spencer's London Collections: Men bash at Rosewood Hotel.
Pixie recently told Marie Claire that she's dreaming of a 'massive' wedding with her beau - as well as a small wedding abroad to go alongside it.
The two met at a catwalk show in 2010 and over the years have proved to be a match made in fashion heaven, signing to the same agency Select Model Management in 2011.

Asked whether she hopes to wed her chiselled beau, she launched straight into plans for the nuptials, gushing to the magazine: 'It probably will be massive.
'I love small weddings in a different country, but I love massive ones in England, so maybe I'll have two.'
But she quickly clarified: 'Hopefully two weddings, not two different marriages!' she continued, correcting herself. 'But I'm not thinking of getting married yet because I'm still so young.'
Perhaps, given her love of all things snowy, she'll have a winter wedding, although it's not on the cards just yet.

Pop star Pixie is the ambassador for Land Rover UK, who are proud to announce the new British-built Land Rover Discovery Sport, which replaces the outgoing Freelander model but it is a bigger, smarter, more luxurious and more flexible than the off-roader it replaces, even though the engine and much of the underpinnings remain the same.
It will appeal to families thanks to fantastic flexibility. There are five seats for everyday use. But should you need some extra space for two more passengers on the school run or that trip to the pantomime or cinema, two extra seats pop up from the rea to create a magnificent seven. Or they, and the other seats, can lie flat to provide plenty of load lugging capability. If you’re packing the boot and suddenly realise you need more space, you can even fold down the second row of seats from a switch near the tailgate, saving you the bother of moving around to the rear door.
This week the off-roader won the inaugural What Car? ‘Safety Award’ in the motor industry ‘Oscars’ presented in conjunction with Thatcham Research, the UK’s only Euro NCAP crash-test centre.

The Land Rover Discovery Sport range is on sale from early this year with the HSE Luxury 2.2L SD4 diesel version costing £41,195. The engine is linked to a smooth 9-speed automatic gearbox and accelerates briskly from rest to 62mph in 8.4 seconds. Top speed is 117mph. CO2 emissions a fair 161g/km helped by a ‘stop-start’ system.
Only the 2.2 litre SD4 diesel version will be on sale in the UK, no petrol version. But if you want to be ‘greener’ Land Rover is to produce a 119g/km 2-wheel drive version at under £30,000.
Land Rover marketing director Laura Schwab said: ’Land Rover is synonymous with family adventure and this year we're taking Hibernot to the next level. We have a whole host of new, fun and exhilarating activities and ideas with which to start the New Year with some outdoor snow fun. Wintertime can be full of excitement and possibility, let's grab it with both hands and get out there!’.
