Brooklyn Beckham prompts social media frenzy as he opens Twitter account... and follows rumoured girlfriend Chloe Moretz
Brooklyn Beckham prompted a social media frenzy on Friday afternoon by opening a Twitter account and immediately clicking follow on the account of his close friend, actress Chloe Moretz.
The 15-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham is using the handle @brooklyn77B and currently follows nine separate accounts on the popular micro-blogging site – all of which belong to pals in the United Kingdom and United States.
But it is his first following, that of rumoured girlfriend Chloe, which has generated interest and prompted further speculation from fans.

Despite being new to Twitter, Brooklyn has already amassed a prodigious 8,010 strong following, with more likely to follow.
Using a low-key image in which his feature are concealed beneath a baseball cap bearing his name and a red and black ice-hockey mask, the teenager’s short bio reads: ‘Football is my life/also follow me on vine,’ along with a link to the site.
Young singer Tallia Storm, with whom Brooklyn has also been seen, is also amongst his early followings.

David and Victoria’s oldest son was recently spotted out with Tallia and celebrity blogger Tessie Hartmann – another to feature amongst his first nine – after the trio paid a visit to Mayfair nightspot Café Kaizen on Thursday evening.
The group, who had been attending an event in aid of the Style for Stroke initiative, later climbed into a waiting car and disappeared into the night.
Tallia - who famously opened for Elton John at the age of 13 after her saw a YouTube video of her singing - had performed at the event.

Brooklyn’s appearance at the event was his first following a car accident with his famous father outside Arsenal’s training ground, where the teen had been training.
A source told The Sun newspaper: 'Beckham and Brooklyn are lucky to be alive. It could have been a different story.'
The driver's side of David's Audi RS6's was wrecked in the incident, and the other car was badly damaged.
The former Manchester United, Real Madrid and England midfielder reportedly escaped with minor injures to his shoulder, while Brooklyn emerged totally unscathed thanks to the airbag on the passenger side of the vehicle.
