But on Thursday, Selena Gomez was snapped applying her makeup as she showed off her brand new shorter haircut.

The 24-year-old was photographed by songwriter Justin Tranter while sporting shoulder-length sleek locks.

The Heart Wants Want It Wants singer styled her much shorter hair center parted and loose around her.

She was photographed as she drew her liquid eye liner on her lids; Justin captioned the picture: 'Music and love.'

The star is known for changing her hair length as well as experimenting with different shades of brown.

While Justin did not mention if he was working on new music with Selena, they appeared to be inside a recording studio together.

Selena has worked with Justin and his songwriting partner Julia Michaels for her last album - Revival.

They collaborated on her tunes 'Hands To Myself,' 'Good For You,' 'Revival,' 'Me & the Rhythm,' 'Body Heat' and 'Perfect.'

Selena recently signed a $10 million deal with Coach to become the face of the brand and also design her own line of luxury accessories, according to Page Six.

The brunette beauty took a step back from social media.

The actress, who last posted on her Instagram on Thanksgiving day, also stepped away from the limelight for a three month stay at a Tennessee rehab facility.

In August, the Texas-born star announced she was taking time off to work on her 'anxiety, panic attacks and depression' - side effects of her Lupus, according to a press released provided to Us Weekly.

Last month, after a four-month hiatus from social media, the artist shared a black and white shot while posing with fans.

Selena wrote a lengthy caption thanking her fans: 'I have a lot to be thankful for this year. My year has been the hardest yet most rewarding one yet. I've finally fought the fight of not 'being enough.'
