However viewers took to Twitter to vent their frustration on Saturday night - after being left outraged by the judges' seemingly 'low scoring' of Claudia Fragapane and partner AJ Pritchard.

While Claudia had been left disappointed by her first dance of the Rumba, the star packed a punch with her dazzling Quickstep as she returned to the floor later on.
Despite receiving high praise for the seamless routine, the semi-finalist received two nines and two tens for the number - which fans subsequently protested on social media.
Believing the routine should have scored a perfect mark, one user wrote in anger: 'That was worth a 40. What the hell is wrong with the judges?'

Outraged: Hundreds of other fans then joined the fray to complain that the couple have been 'consistently undermarked' throughout the competition
While another added in frustration: 'Craig didn't even say anything bad about Claudia and AJ's quickstep and yet still gave it a 9?'
Hundreds of other fans then joined the fray to complain that the couple have been 'consistently undermarked' for the last few weeks.
One passionate fan penned: 'Claudia and AJ are consistently fantastic and constantly undermarked,' while another went as far to call the show 'fixed' as her ballroom number was superior to Ore's Argentine Tango - which scored the highest mark of the night.

Continuing the controversial 'fix' claims, with many fans stating that the judges have 'favourites', a further disgruntled viewer wrote: 'Actually shocked at this scoring?! Claudia and AJ dance of the night and only get 38? This is a definite fix.'
It is not the only time that the youngsters have been defended by fans - only scoring their first ten last week after a consistent string of complex and controlled dances.
However despite protests from fans of her continual unfair scoring, Claudia confessed on This Morning last week that she is truly loving her time on the beloved BBC show, and that it has brought her out of her shell.
She gushed: 'I didn't have much confidence in myself, but it's really helped bring myself out.'

While Claudia had wowed with her upbeat ballroom number and her raunchy Rumba on Saturday night, she was left tied at the bottom of the leader board with Louise Redknapp.
She had first taken to the floor with her romantic Rumba to Leona Lewis' Bleeding Love - certainly looking the part in a saucy figure-hugging purple mesh gown, to show off her impeccably toned physique.
Finishing off with vibrant purple lipstick and diamante gems on her eyelids, the Olympic athlete looked truly gorgeous as she took to the floor for the slow but dramatic routine.
The pint-sized beauty showed off her impressive gymnastic skill as she extended her leg into splits and wrapped herself tightly around AJ as part of the intimate choreography.

While her dancing was praised, the judges were left slightly disappointed by the characterisation and emotion of the piece.
Craig observed: 'It was a little too square and stop-start, and slightly lacking in chemistry, but had great control and you really, truly are wonderful.'
While Len added: 'That was quality: controlled, precise, lots of cocking your leg up, but would've liked a tad more hip action.'

Claudia was left slightly disheartened by the comments after such an exhausting week, admitting backstage: 'We worked really hard on all the steps and connecting... I'm a little bit disappointed but I'm ok.'
The adorable pair scored a total of 35, hoping to bag another 10 in their second routine.
However the Olympian came back in full force with a truly toe-tapping Quickstep - rivalling Ore's success in the same dance earlier that night.

Skipping and leaping around the floor When You're Smiling by Andy Williams, the routine certainly made everyone watching beam from ear to ear with its energetic Charleston opening, and complex set of kicks and flicks.
Darcey called the routine 'light and energetic' and praised her 'generous top line', while Len said: 'You've gone from gymnastic to fantastic.'
He also admitted as a professional dancer he understood how difficult it is to tackle such a fast-paced dance with Claudia and AJ being such different heights - and applauded the pair for overcoming the obstacle to perform such a winning routine.
A notable improvement from earlier, Claudia bagged two nines and two tens from the judges - marking her highest score so far in the competition.
