Briana Cuoco has been working as a personal assistant for her actress sister Kaley of The Big Bang Theory - while carrying a secret dream to make it as a singer.
But she finally caved in to Kaley's persistent encouragement to enter the TV talent show - and could now become a superstar as a member of coach Christina Aguilera's team on the hit series.
And Kaley could not hide her emotion as she joined their parents in watching 24-year-old Briana bowl over the judges with her performances of Lady Gaga's You and I.

Kaley wiped away tears as Christina and then Cee Lo Green pressed their buttons to turn around and fight to have her on their team.
'Sometimes you are sitting in this seat and you are struck by the subtleness of a vocal, and then sometimes you are just moved by power and raw talent - and I really enjoyed it. You held out those notes really, really strong,' Christina told her. 'You made me happy.'
'Bri I'm just a man - I felt power in your voice as well, and I want to be closer to it. Being close to a powerful woman is one of my favorite places to be,' Cee Lo pleaded.

Briana made it clear she would be happy to stop working for her sister.
'This is what I want to do with my life - I don't want to make appointments, take the dogs for a walk, call the plumber,' she said,
'I believe I'm meant to do this for the rest of my life and hopefully this will be the beginning of the journey.'

As host Carson Daly earlier visited their home, Kaley, 27, joked about having 'to hire someone else' because of the show.
'I've been waiting for something like this for so long for her,' she said proudly of her sister.
'She’s deserved this her whole life. She's always put herself on the back-burner for everyone else. This is her time now.'
She added: 'There's no one in the world I love more. My sister and I are closer than close.

'And what's funny is I'm obsessed with this show. For years I've been like, "You've got to get on The Voice!" And now that it's happening I want this for her probably more than she wants it. I'm just really, really excited.'
Briana said: 'My sister understands that I have aspirations, that I have things that I wanna do, and she's great about that.
'It would mean the beginning of my dreams coming true.'

While the coaches loved Briana, it was a soulful 26-year-old who used to be the guitarist in a top Christian rock band that really had them going wild.
Cee Lo, Blake, Shelton and Adam Levine all turned around almost as soon as Preston Pohl started singing MGMT's Electric Feel - and all started fighting over him.
After Cee Lo praised him for picking 'one of my favorite songs of all time', Adam said: 'Yeah but he turned that into like a Marvin [Gaye] song. You turned that into, like, Let's Get It On.'

Adam finally got his man - but only after begging. 'Please tell me what I can do to make you choose me as your coach - I will do it,' he told him.
'Just tell me what I need to tell you. The conviction with which you sing - I believe you. I heard it and it sounded amazing, but when I turned around I saw you believing in what you were doing.
'Dude I'm going to be very, very angry if I don't get you on my team.'

The battle for Preston was just one of the fights amongst the coaches.
The three male judges turned around to pick Monika Leigh, 28, of Boulder, Colorado. following her amazingly soulful version of B. B. King's The Thrill Is Gone.
'Oh my God you're beautiful!' Christina said when she finally turned around at the end of the song, summing up what the male coaches appeared to be thinking. 'These guys are going to have a blood bath over you.'
Cee Lo told her he loves 'the way you sing so womanly', while Blake said she sang 'in a subtle, amazing, beautiful way'.
But Blake won - insisting he wanted her at the centerpiece of his team, telling her she has 'star quality'.

Cee Lo and Blake also fought to have handsome single dad Ray Boudreaux, 25, of Lafayette, Louisiana, on their teams after his version of Bill Withers' Use Me.
'This is incredible genetics here - you look like Blake and you sound like Cee Lo,' Adam said, telling him he has 'an epically cool voice'.
'Bill Withers is like a father to me,' Cee Lo told him. 'You did such a great job, I didn't realize it was that blue eyed soul thing going on.
'You got it. I feel like we're cut from the same cloth, that's what I do.
'Lightning was striking when you did certain things. I want in - I want to win with you.'
Ray said it was 'tough' to pick, but finally settled on Blake.
'I thought I was going to go with Cee Lo - coming into this thing I thought Cee Lo 100 percent. But in that moment man Blake spoke to me,' Ray admitted afterwards.

Two teenage girls also had the coaches desperate to have them on their team.
Timyra-Joi, 15, of San Diego, California, had Christina, Blake and Cee Lo all battling for her after her stunning version of Alicia Keys' Girl On Fire.
'I really believe in you,' Christina said - finally getting her on her team. 'The potential there is endless.'
'I went in knowing that I was going to pick Cee Lo, but Christina just fought for me and I appreciated that and so I went with my gut,' the youngster explained later.

Meanwhile Christina and Cee Lo also both wanted Juhi, 16, from Franklin, Tennessee, who sang a beautiful version of Duffy's Mercy.
Saying she 'wants to be a cross between Amy Winehouse and Kurt Cobain' she added: 'I'm a huge fan of Gnarls Barkley and a huge fan of Christina Aguilera so I'm geeing right now!'
Cee Lo called her 'wonderfully unique' and 'sounded so strong and effortless' as well as 'kindred spirits'.
'I feel connected to you, we feel like family, feel like a little sister, you know? I will fight for you,' Cee Lo added.
'Well I just feel like your coach,' Christina shot back - but lost out to Cee Lo.

Christina then battled with Blake to get former child model Lina Gaudenzi, 23, of Miami, Florida, who sang Fleetwood Mac's Landslide.
Christina calls her 'something really special and unique' while Blake told her: 'I think Team Blake is a natural place for you to be, don't you think so?'
After Christina accused Blake of just 'speaking one language', he shot back: 'Yeah - it's called winning.'
But he didn't win Lina who picked Christina as her coach.

Wannabe country star Justin Blake, 20, from Savannah, Tennessee, went all guns blazing to get on Blake's team - by singing the star's own song, Sure Be Cool If You Did.
But he didn't - and only Adam turned around for him, later admitted to Blake: 'I didn't even know it was one of your songs!'
'It's a great song,' he said as he went over and gave his rival coach a hug.
One of the contestants of the evening seemed to be the perfect definition of what The Voice aims to find.

Malford Milligan, 54, of Austin, Texas, is a black albino who said growing up 'people just looked at me strange like I was a side-show freak'.
'I like that the auditions are blind - because I'm most worried about how I look,' he said.
'There's still that little kid inside who says, "Well they're not going to like you, you don't have a chance". I see The Voice as a chance to let America really see who I am.'
All the coaches appeared to love his version of Al Green's Let's Stay Together - but none of them turned around to pick him.
'Your voice is undeniable,' Christina insisted, while Blake told him: 'This is not bullc**p - please make a record so I can buy it.'
Despite his disappointment, Malford insisted: 'It's something I'll remember till the day I die.'
