Marion Cotillard smoulders in her latest Christian Dior campaign for Lady Dior

That's quite a bag lady.... Marion Cotillard smoulders in her latest Christian Dior campaign for Lady Dior

She was unveiled as the latest in a long and rich line of celebrities to model for Christian Dior way back in 2008.
Five years have passed since her first advertising campaign for the Lady Dior handbag range but Marion Cottilard still exudes the same poise and elegance in her latest, courtesy of two newly released shots.
The French actress participates in a new campaign by photographer Tim Walker, who captured the actress showcasing two new bags from the Lady Dior range.

In the first, Marion wears a cobalt blue shift from the French fashion house’s Resort 2014 collection by designer Raf Simons as she stands in front of a white wall smeared with matching blue paint.
With her hair slicked back across her head and a blood red slash of lipstick providing an additional splash of colour, Marion looks stunning as she stands with her hands placed firmly on her hips, a blue and green paint box bag hanging from her right wrist.
In the second shot canary yellow dominates, with Marion seated on a paint splattered table, her hair neatly parted and pushed to the side while she offers Walker a smouldering look, a yellow and amber Dior bag by her side.

The striking new shots will be printed in the Japanese edition of Vogue on October 28 before being given their US launch in Vanity Fair two days later.
Marion – a self-confessed advocate of the French brand – was the first person to wear a garment from the new resort collection when she attended the Cannes Film Festival in one of Raf Simon’s creations, a 60’s inspired dress.
Taking more than eight hours to manufacture the Lady Dior handbag consists of 100 different components, with its distinctive pattern said to be inspired by Napoleon II couture chairs used during the very first Christian Dior show in 1947.

Model Jourdan Dunn's surprise after being cut from Dior's catwalk over '32A boobs'

'I'm normally fired because I'm colored!' Model Jourdan Dunn's surprise after being cut from Dior's catwalk over '32A boobs'

Supermodel Jourdan Dunn was cut from Christian Dior's haute couture fashion show in Paris today because of her chest size.
According to the 22-year-old's profile page on Storm Models' website, the London-based agency that represents her, she is a 32A - but this apparently wasn't the right look for the French fashion house.
The five-foot-ten-inch beauty of Jamaican heritage, announced the news on Twitter sarcastically laughing it off by saying, 'I love fashion'. She pointed out that it's usually her skin color that loses her jobs.

'I'm normally told I'm cancelled because I'm 'coloured' so being cancelled because off [sic] my boobs is a minor,' she wrote.
There was certainly a lot of flesh on display at the Dior catwalk show, which took place in front of a star-studded crowd at the military museum, Hotel Des Invalides.
Models were seen strutting down the catwalk in sheer gowns that exposed their breasts and underwear. Those who were picked over Miss Dunn for the show included Puerto Rican-born, Joan Smalls.
While she was told that her body was the issue, since Raf Simons took the helm of Dior it has been criticized for using almost exclusively white models.

Even industry figures have called out the luxury brand for its lack of diversity.
James Scully who heads up model casting at Tom Ford, Jason Wu, Derek Lam, Stella McCartney, Lanvin and Carolina Herrera, told Buzzfeed in March: 'I feel the Dior cast is just so pointedly white that it feels deliberate.
'I watch that show and it bothers me - I almost can’t even concentrate on the clothes because of the cast.
'And recently they’re changing from a very diverse, worldwide, multicultural cast to just a very Germanic-looking white girl.'

He even commented that Mr Simons' message was similar to that of his predecessor John Galliano, who was accused of racism following a drunken, anti-Semitic rant outside a Parisian cafe in 2011.
'Natalie Portman could complain that John Galliano was a racist, but I feel [Dior designer] Raf Simons sends the same message. I don’t know what the difference is,' he added.
In an interview with Net-A-Porter's The Edit in March, Miss Dunn recalled being turned away from model castings because the client 'didn't want any more black girls'.
The single mother-of one, who won Model Of The Year at the British Fashion Awards in 2008, also revealed the time a white makeup artist said she wouldn't work on her face because she was black.

Natalie Portman in the latest Dior perfume campaign

Nothing to see here: Natalie Portman wraps up for the latest Dior perfume campaign after shedding her clothes for the past two seasons

She may have bared all in her previous campaigns for Christian Dior, but Oscar winner Natalie Portman is covering up in her latest advert for the French fashion house.
The 31-year-old Black Swan star is the epitome of demure chic in the gorgeous shoot and is seen softly gazing at the camera while wearing a white knitted jumper.
In another shot, the actress is pictured looking especially casual in a simple dark grey top and artfully worn in jeans.

But its not all about dressing down for Natalie, in a final stunning image she is seen sitting on a bed wearing a diaphanous pastel pink dress.
The shoot is a stark contrast to her most recent advert for the Diorskin Nude range, where the brunette beauty is pictured lying topless over a chaise lounge.
Natalie also stripped off for her previous advert for Miss Dior Cherie perfume, where she soaks in a tub wearing nothing but her Dior sunglasses.
Pretty in pink: The jeans and jumper are nowhere to be seen as Natalie changes in to an elegant sugary pink dress and perches on a chaise

Directed by Sofia Coppola, the homage to Jean Luc Godard's 1960s movies, also shows the actress undressing her onscreen lover and kissing him passionately on a bed.
Wearing a black strapless dress the star, smoulders for the camera and poses suggestively with a black bow-tie.

The mother-of-one might look totally at ease in front of the cameras but in a recent interview with InStyle, Natalie confessed that she feels as if she never quite succeeds in putting on a perfect public appearance.
'My grandmother believes you don't leave the house unless you have perfect hair and make-up, so she is always at me for not brushing my hair or not putting on enough make-up,' she said.
'I love Sofia Coppola's whole aesthetic. She presents herself in a ladylike fashion and has so much personality,' the mother of one-year old boy Aleph added.
That said, Natalie did admit that she never leaves the house without a lipstick:  'I keep three lipsticks with me, always, one nude, everyday colour, plus a red and a plum for dressing up.'

Mila Kunis embodies old Hollywood glamour in return as the face of Miss Dior

Mila Kunis embodies old Hollywood glamour in return as the face of Miss Dior

It's been decades since Hollywood's Golden Age, but Mila Kunis, as one of this generation's most in-demand stars, epitomises that old-school glamour in a new campaign for Christian Dior.
The Black Swan actress, whose first ad for the luxury fashion label debuted in January, smoulders in her return as the face of brand's ready-to-wear accessories.
Photographed by Mario Sorrenti with styling by former French Vogue editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld, the Ukraine-born star, 28, poses with the new Miss Dior handbag.

According to WWD.com, creatives at the label aimed to depict Kunis as 'the kind of woman accustomed to attention from throngs of paparazzi' for the Autumn 2012 handbag campaign.
Indeed, it's not a stretch for the star, who appeared at Dior's Paris fashion show in March, seeming to take pride in her role wearing a soft nude palette in a chic lace dress.

There, Mila opened up about her new role as an ambassador for the esteemed fashion house, and her own personal style - describing herself as a 'jeans and T-shirt' kind of girl.
She told WWD: 'I'm honestly just learning about fashion... In my daily life, I don’t wear the most feminine pieces. But I love to feel feminine when I’m on the red carpet.'
A black-and-white vision: The campaign will launch in the August issue of Elle Hong Kong on July 21, appearing in worldwide titles in September

Fans of the star might also expect to see her wearing much more of the label at premieres and during the coming awards season.
'I find that Dior is an incredibly grounded house,' she continued. 'I always thought what Dior does is so sophisticated, feminine and beautiful.'
And the feeling appears to be mutual. Executives at Dior are besotted with the rising star.
Delphine Arnault, deputy general manager at Dior, told WWD: 'Mila Kunis is a very talented young actress... Her performance in Black Swan was remarkable. She is very gifted.'
Mila's appointment as the face of Dior follows that of Black Swan co-star Natalie Portman. The stunning actress, dressed in black, was photographed posing with the Spring 2012 Miss Dior handbag.

She also joins an illustrious line-up of house models for Dior.
In addition to Natalie Portman, the names count A-listers Marion Cotillard, Jude Law and Charlize Theron.
Mila's latest campaign will launch in the August issue of Elle Hong Kong on July 21, and will appear in worldwide titles in September.
The images will also be unveiled in tandem with a short film on the Miss Dior website next week.
Meanwhile, the actress has a busy production schedule ahead.
She is currently starring in big screen comedy Ted, which sees her alongside Mark Wahlberg in Seth MacFarlane's directorial debut.
Set for release later this year is her poetic drama Tar, which takes a look at author C.K. Williams' life over the course of 40 years.
On the red carpet: Mila has previously described herself as a 'jeans and T-shirt' type of girl - appearing on Thursday in a casual ensemble at Comic-Con in San Diego

She also recently wrapped filming on Blood Ties, co-starring Zoe Saldana and Marion Cotillard, whose husband, Guillaume Canet, is directing.
The film, along with the highly-anticipated Oz: The Great and Powerful, is expected for release in 2013.
Mila will play Theodora in the movie, which tells the story of how the The Wizard of Oz and came to be the ruler of the magical land imagined for the silver screen in 1939.
James Franco is playing the much beloved conjurer Oz, who has to work out which of a tantalising trio of witches he can trust in the strange and magical locale.
