Bridal designer unveils dress collection inspired by Disney's most popular princesses - including Elsa from Frozen and the Little Mermaid

Gowns fit for a fairytale wedding: Bridal designer unveils dress collection inspired by Disney's most popular princesses - including Elsa from Frozen and the Little Mermaid

A bridal company has unveiled a new wedding dress collection inspired by Disney's most popular princesses.
Alfred Angelo today introduced its 2015 Disney Fairy Tale Weddings bridal collection, which includes dresses inspired by nine Disney princess characters, including a highly-anticipated bridal gown inspired by Elsa from the phenomenally popular animated musical Frozen.
The brand's new collection is aimed at bride's who are inspired by the whimsical fantasy of their favorite Disney films, but don't want to walk down the aisle wearing something that looks like a design that has been taken straight from an animated movie.

The dresses, which have been inspired by Cinderella, Aurora from Sleeping Beauty, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Jasmine from Aladdin, Tiana from the Princess and the Frog, Snow White, Rapunzel from Tangled, and Ariel from the Little Mermaid, as well as Elsa, are showcased in a beautiful photoshoot, which sees each dress captured in a setting befitting the princess it represents.
And while all of the gowns have been created in a specific color that the designer feels best
Elsa's dress is showcased by a blonde model in what appears to be a frost-covered room. The model has her hair pulled into a braid just like that worn by the Frozen character, and the icy blue coloring of the strapless gown mirrors that of the dress worn by Elsa throughout much of the movie.
For Cinderella, the model wearing the gown has been captured standing in front of a horse-drawn carriage, like that featured in the animated movie, and the recently-released live-action remake, both of which were created from a pumpkin by Cinderella's Fairy Godmother.

Sleeping Beauty's Aurora wears a white and pale pink gown, and is pictured sleeping on a bed of rose petals, while Jasmine, from Aladdin, can be seen lounging on a day bed in an indigo jumpsuit with beaded embellishments on the top half.
The modern design comes complete with a detachable train, sheer back yoke and crystal beading that gives it a feeling of luxury which is befitting an Arabian princess.
Ariel, from the Little Mermaid, is - unsurprisingly - pictured walking along a beach, with the waves in the background. Her sea-green strapless dress is inspired by the color of the animated character's mermaid tail, while the model has the same red hair as the original animated Ariel.
The flared gown has been crystal-beaded throughout to sparkle like treasures from the deep, while the dramatic skirt has been layered with glitter net to shimmer like sunlight on the waves.

The only 3D animation featured in the bridal line-up is Tangled, which was used to inspire the dress created in honor of its central character Rapunzel.
To showcase this particular design, the model can be seen posing in front of a stunning backdrop of floating lanterns, which, in the movie, are used to honor the birthday of the young Princess Rapunzel. In the shoot, the model wears the same purple shade showcased by Rapunzel throughout the film, while her hair is styled in the same floral braid as the character.
Princess Tiana, the first black princess ever to feature in a Disney animation and the star of the Princess and the Frog wears a green gown, no doubt inspired by the color of the amphibian that she transforms into not long after the start of the movie.
She can be seen posing up with a handsome suitor against a backdrop that reflects the bayou that Tiana and her frog-turned-prince travel through during the movie.
Let down your hair! Rapunzel's gown has been inspired by the character from Disney's Tangled. In the movie, the character wears a purple gown similar to this design, and showcases the same floral hairstyle

Kiss a frog, find a prince! Tiana from the Princess and the Frog wears the same shade of green in the movie, and the background of this shoot is also inspired by the swamp in which she spends much of her time as a small frog

A real-life princess: The Tangled dress, inspired by Rapunzel (L), features the same purple coloring as the movie character's gown, while Tiana's ensemble is green, just like the gown she wears to marry her handsome prince (R)
Snow White's gown is the same beautiful red as the apple offered up to her by the Evil Queen, while Belle's gown, inspired by the gold ensemble she wears for a romantic dinner with the Beast, features a number of floral embellishments on the full tulle skirt.
Chief Creative Officer and family member at Alfred Angelo, Michele Piccione, said of the designs: 'Along with the silhouettes and embellishments of each gown, color gives us another way to bring the magic of Disney's imagined storytelling to life and allow brides to express their individuality on their special day.'
Thus far the new collection has received an overwhelmingly positive response on social media, with Disney fans the world over taking to Twitter and Instagram to praise the dresses - and to choose which one they would wear when their big day comes around.
'I love Disney everything and so these dresses are perfect for me!' one person wrote, before adding: 'I'm definitely going for Cinderella.'
Another added: 'This Frozen dress is actually perfect.'

It's been over a year since the mega-successful Disney animation Frozen was released.

Elsa works together with Kristoff to put on a surprise party for Anna, but her icy powers may put more than just the party at risk.
Unfortunately for the ice queen, she catches a head cold the same day as the party and it creates a major threat to the celebration.
'Frozen Fever takes place just a few months since we last saw the gang, it's actually Anna's birthday but Elsa is complicating things,' explained directors Chris and Jennifer.

The recent trailer only centers around the cheerful party preparations also debuting a new original song that will surely give Let It Go a run for its money.
Oscar winning songwriters and real life couple Robert and Kristen Lopez, who created Let It Go, have come up with another chart-topping hit.
Not only are the film's directors reprising their roles, but also Idina Menzel (Elsa), Kristen Bell (Anna), Jonathan Groff (Kristoff) and Josh Gad (Olaf) are all back to voice their characters.

Elsa started a popular fashion trend with that iconic icy blue dress but in the upcoming short she rocks a new party dress, this time wearing a brightly colored green floral frock for the birthday party.
Sister Anna also gets a new wardrobe change donning a color coordinated gown with lots of tulle but still in keeping with the some of the same embellished design from her previous dress.
Walt Disney Animation made the smart choice to release Frozen Fever as a prelude of the company's live-action Cinderella.

The mini Frozen sequel will be screened just before the retelling of the classic fairy tale and is believed to have been a strategic play by the studio to draw in Frozen's die-hard fans to the box offices.
Cinderella, starring actresses Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter and Lily James, is set for US release on March 13.
Frozen swept theaters worldwide like a powerful snowstorm for over half a year since its November 2013 opening.

The musical fantasy film grossed an impressive $1.219 billion at the box office alone, not including product sales and the new Frozen Fun attraction at Disneyland's California Adventure theme park.
According to Variety, the film raked in more than $400m in the States, over $194m in Japan and continues to rake in earnings to this date.
Frozen has become the top-grossing animated motion picture and the fifth highest grossing film ever in history.

Stills from Frozen Fever reveal plot of short-film sequel to Disney's mega hit and there's a new song CATCHIER than Let It Go

It's back! Stills from Frozen Fever reveal plot of short-film sequel to Disney's mega hit and there's a new song CATCHIER than Let It Go

Parents be warned - there's a sequel to Disney's mega hit Frozen on the horizon, and it features an even catchier tune set to drive us all mad.
Frozen Fever is a seven-minute short film which reunites the cast, characters, directors and even songwriters of the original 2013 movie, and will be screened ahead of Disney's Cinderella (that hits cinemas on March 13 in the US and April 3 in the UK).
'If history is any indicator, kids will go nuts,' Actor Josh Gad - voice of Olaf the snowman - tells USA Today, about the catchy new song.

Husband and wife duo Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez - who were responsible for the Oscar-winning song Let It Go - have teamed up again to create another earworm for fans.
One of the film's directors - Jennifer Lee - previously apologized to parents for the sing-a-long-friendly hit.
Lee told The Hollywood Reporter: 'A year ago, I'd meet people who, when they found out who I was, they'd say, "Oh, we love the songs! We sing them all the time." Now they're like, "Yep, we're still listening to those songs. I've gone from, "Thank you," to, "Sorry!"'.
Someone looks guilty! Actor Josh Gad (who voices the part of Olaf the snowman) has revealed that there is a new song as catchy as Let It Go featured in the new short

Speaking about the new mini-movie, co-director Chris Buck reveals: 'It's another side of Elsa the audience hasn't seen before and we hadn't really played with in the original feature.'
Buck and Lee have reunited as directors of the project, which sees Anna's plans to put on a birthday party for Elsa get ruined, after the snow queen catches a cold.
But of course, it is not a common cold the for the magical character.
More sibling rivalry? Director Chris Buck tells us we get to see a 'different side' of Elsa in the movie

Lee reveals: 'Elsa doesn't get a cold in the usual way. She's special. Surprising things occur that wreak a little havoc.'
Actor Gad added of the story: 'We continue this story of these two sisters, who only had each other growing up together. They are still supporting each other. That's what this is about.'
Both Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel are also back on board, voicing the roles of Princess Anna and Princess Elsa respectively.
The original movie took over a billion dollars at the global box office, and is the most successful animated movie of all time, so it's no wonder the filmmakers have reunited for the project.
The news of the short-film was first revealed in September last year, and there has been continued speculation that Disney is working on a proper full-length sequel to the movie.
However, the studio is yet to confirm any official plans.

The secret world of Mickey Mouse: Animators reveal where Mickey is hidden in Disney's top films - but can you spot him?

The secret world of Mickey Mouse: Animators reveal where Mickey is hidden in Disney's top films - but can you spot him?

It’s a Disney tradition that has been secretly carried out for decades; never publicly acknowledged and is now a near obsession for fans: Finding hidden Mickeys.
Animators and theme park designers have long been incorporating hidden Mickeys into their work, giving fans the chance to try and spot the iconic mouse surreptitiously planted in the background of modern movies and ride designs.
The practice is now so widespread that finding Mickey is considered a sport among Disney lovers with entire websites set up to document the hidden icon.
Imagineers have hidden representations of Mickey in movies from Snow White to Aladdin and around the Magic Kingdom and Epcot Center.
Usually they consist of three circles drawn to represent Mickey’s head and ears but can even go as far as planting Mickey, Goofy et al in a crowd scene.
There is no official list of all the Mickeys hidden by Disney workers adding to the mystery and debate but Disney.com documented some of their best movie versions on a blog post.
