Girl on fire! Jennifer Lawrence looks show-stopping in shimmering ivory gown at The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 LA premiere

It was the Hollywood premiere of the hotly anticipated third instalment in the Hunger Games saga: Mockingjay – Part One.
And as if she wasn't going to turn enough heads already, Jennifer Lawrence picked a gown that made everyone stand to attention.
The actress wore an ivory Dior Couture creation to the Los Angeles event on Monday, which featured silver detailing, a dramatic full skirt and low-scooping neckline.

Jennifer's dress, from the design house's Fall 2014 collection, was originally a floor-sweeping gown, but the 24-year-old had it altered to be shorter, so that her gold sandals were visible.
Letting her frock be the centre of attention, the Oscar winner decided to forgo any other accessories - save for a pair of pearl earrings by Vita Fede - and kept her make-up natural.
Jennifer wore her blonde in a voluminous low-bun and left a few wavy tendrils falling about her beautiful face.

The star, who shot to fame playing Katniss Everdeen in the franchise, posed with the other two members of her on-screen love triangle - Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark) and Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorne).
Josh looked brooding in a black suit and matching shirt, while Liam went for a different, yet still classic look in a black pinstripe suit and blue shirt.
Elizabeth Banks, like her character Effie Trinket, is a big fan of unusual pieces and wore a striking strapless paisley print number in exotic red, blue, green and gold hues, which featured a high-low cut.

Meanwhile, Julianne Moore looked incredible in a black gown that was covered in sequins and had fringing at the bottom, along with a sexy low-cut.
The stunning redhead, who turns 54 next month but looks far younger than her years, also wore platform sandals and heavy black eyeshadow, and had her trademark tresses in Old Hollywood style curls.
Jena Malone matched her scarlet Emanuel Ungaro dress to her fiery red hair, and showed a lot of leg thanks to a split up one side which almost reached her waist.

The 29-year-old, who plays Johanna Mason in the saga, completed her glamorous look with sky high gold peep toe heels and a matching miniature clutch bag.
Natalie Dormer went for understated elegance in a gold embroidered gown with keyhole cut-out, looking much more girly than her character Cressida - who has her head half-shaved.
For the event, downtown Los Angeles’s Nokia Theatre LA Live was transformed into Panem’s Capitol.
Instead of a red carpet, there was shiny white flooring and Peacekeepers patrolling across it, while Katniss’s Mockingjay pin was dotted around the place and fiery torches added even more drama.

Evan Ross is cementing his star status in the acting world with his role in the movie as Messalla.
So the two most important women in his life, in the form of his new wife Ashlee Simpson and his very famous mother Diana Ross, were right by his side to support him.
Ashlee may have been there for her husband - and couldn't resist planting a few kisses on him - but she still turned plenty of heads of her own in a plunging black gown with split up the front.
Meanwhile, The Supremes star Diana wore a glitzy sequined shirt and trouser combination, and showed her diva credentials with a pair of sunglasses.

Evan's sister Tracee Ellis Ross was also at the bash. And the actor as usual chose a bizarre outfit for the occasion in the form of a black coat and matching leather trousers and boots, along with a red scarf.
The ever handsome Sam Claflin, who plays Finnick Odair, had his fans swooning in a black suit and white shirt, along with some designer stubble.
Willow Shields, who portrays Katniss's sister Prim, turned 14 earlier this year but is already a budding fashionista and wore a lovely green gown with dramatic train.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part One hits cinemas in the US on November 21 and the UK on November 20.
