Star Wars Day! Daisy Ridley posts video from Episode VIII set as she wishes a Happy May The 4th while John Boyega watches twerking Storm Troopers

Star Wars Day! Daisy Ridley posts video from Episode VIII set as she wishes a Happy May The 4th while John Boyega watches twerking Storm Troopers

May 4 is Star Wars Day because May the fourth sounds like 'may the force' as in 'May the force be with you,' a popular saying in all the Star Wars films.
That day fell on Wednesday, when several past and present stars of the franchise reached out on social media to celebrate.
While Star Wars VIII actress Daisy Ridley shared a video from the set of Episode VIII with BB-8 and her co-star John Boyega posted a video of twerking Storm Troopers, vet Mark Hamill chose to use the day to help sick kids.

The beauty was on the set of Star Wars VIII with BB-8 in the background. She thanked fans for donating to Force For Change. And she also pretended not to be disappointed when she was handed a gift from Boyega.
Turns out that gift was a Star Wars John Boyega doll.
'Over one million raised. One million matched. @daisyridley (and friends) thank you for being a #ForceForChange and wish you a happy #StarWarsDay! #StarWars,' read the caption.
Nice scarf: Daisy's first snap was of her grinning on the set of The Force Awakens as she wears a Jedi-approved turban. The 24-year-old star captioned the collage: 'HAPPY STAR WARS DAY!'

This is team Dazzle; Lisa, Amanda and Callie (missing Sonny!) AKA the incredible women that kept me going the whole way through the shoot! Plus JJ in the back being a general BAWS!'
