Jenna Coleman in an elegant tea dress at Victoria and Albert Museum summer party

Jenna Coleman cuts a chic figure in an elegant form-fitting tea dress as she attends Victoria and Albert Museum summer party

She recently wrapped filming on Victoria, an eight-part ITV drama in which she plays the iconic queen.
And Jenna Coleman still had a regal air to her as she attended the Victoria and Albert Museum's star-studded summer party in London's South Kensington on Wednesday night.
The former Doctor Who actress, 30, looked the picture of effortless elegance as she slipped into a form-fitting dress, featuring a pattern of white flowers set against a purple and orange background.

The brunette beauty straddled the line between sexy and demure perfectly, showing off her enviable figure without revealing too much skin.
Jenna's dress stopped well below her finely polished knees and featured a round neckline with deep V-opening, giving the slightest hint of décolletage.
Black and white detailing around her neck and cinched waist helped break up the floral motif, adding a dose of sophistication and intrigue to the summery look.

Understated yet glamorous, Jenna pulled her brunette tresses behind her ears, framing her face beautifully and letting her wrinkle-free complexion take centre stage.
She played a complementary make-up game, wearing praline-coloured lipstick with orange undertones that gave cohesion to her hair and dress.
The Blackpool-born thespian carried a small pillbox clutch, which featured a dazzling golden lattice design.
Although Queen Victoria is often thought of as a widow in black who mourned her beloved Prince Albert for years on end, Jenna will portray her as a headstrong woman who intoxicates the many men she comes into contact with.

The first episode recreates the Queen's coronation at Westminster Abbey in 1838.
Running across eight episodes, the series has been created and written by acclaimed novelist Daisy Goodwin, in her screenwriting debut, who will also serve as executive producer alongside Dan McCulloch (Indian Summers) and Damien Timmer (Poldark).

Elizabeth Hurley fab at 50 in slinky low-cut mini dress at 'Shoes: Pleasure and Pain' exhibition at the V&A

Fabulous at 50! Elizabeth Hurley defies her age on milestone birthday as she goes for serious glamour in slinky low-cut mini dress at museum launch

Elizabeth Hurley must have access to the 'Fountain of Youth'.
The actress and designer turned 50 on Wednesday and, as she stepped out for an event during the evening, she couldn't have looked younger, fresher or more beautiful.
She looked typically sensational in a curve-hugging little dress, with just the right amount of both legs and her ample chest on show while attending the 'Shoes: Pleasure and Pain' exhibition preview at the Victoria & Albert Museum.
Stunning display: Elizabeth Hurley looked incredible as she arrived at the Shoes: Pleasure and Pain exhibit launch at the V&S Museum in London on Wednesday, the very same day she turned 50

The British beauty's long and lean legs were on show under the shimmering and ornate pale silver mini dress, which had a lace edge along the hemline and neckline.
Sticking to her favourite style - a tight, sleeveless dress is her go-to look - she certainly looked amazing as she flaunted her cleavage, but in a classy, understated way.
Her warm brunette locks were worn down, elegant waves tumbling over her bare shoulders.
And she finished her gorgeous evening look with a pair of sparkling heeled court shoes, hoop earrings and a metallic box clutch.
Is she really half a century old? The birthday girl looked gorgeous, her skin glowing while also showing off a subtle but ample amount of cleavage in her strappy dress

The actress, who stars in TV drama The Royals, didn't appear to have a wrinkle on her body, her skin smooth from head to toe and boasting a natural and subtle glow as she posed with shoe designer Patrick Cox.
In fact, the star recently shared the secrets to her enviably youthful appearance, telling MailOnline how she keeps her lean and healthy figure in shape.
'I don't do a lot of set exercise, but I'm very active and run around all day,' she admitted - even doing 'stomach and bottom exercises' while waiting for the bath to fill.
Earlier in the day, the Austin Powers star had celebrated her milestone birthday in central London with friends, and had donned an equally stunning dress for the occasion.

Her svelte curves were encased in a tight little red dress as she beamed while heading to meet pals for a midday meal.
Thrilled and humbled with the outpouring of messages from her legions of admirers, Liz took to Twitter on the day to thank everybody for their kind words.
'Thank you so much for all your v kind birthday wishes. Having the best day,' she wrote to her Twitter followers.
Celebrations: Earlier in the day, Elizabeth had rocked another gorgeous ensemble as she went for a birthday lunch with friends

Taking to the site a few days earlier, she also posted a sweet message saying: 'A perfect English day with old friends and the best pre birthday cake ever.'
Fortunately, Liz's happiness isn't just confined to her personal life - she's also enjoying a career revival with American TV series The Royals.
The series is about to begin filming for the second season, which follows on from a successful debut.
Also at the V&A event, was a very beautifully dressed Donna Air.

The socialite looked conservative but not too much so, as she covered her frame in an A-line black lace skirt tied at the waist with an ostentatious bow.
She tucked in a shiny white blouse with billowing sleeves, and topped off the look with a pair of striking lace-up black heels, and a designer animal-print bag.
The 'Shoes: Pleasure and Pain' exhibition, being held at the iconic London museum from June until January next year, takes a look at shoes throughout the ages, from historic artefacts to contemporary designer items, while considering the 'cultural significance and transformative capacity of shoes'.

Dianna Agron goes braless in dangerously low-cut dress at Alexander McQueen gala... and reveals slightly too much

That won't fill her with Glee! Dianna Agron goes braless in dangerously low-cut dress at Alexander McQueen gala... and reveals slightly too much

It was an evening celebrating the life and work of one of the greatest designers of our time, and Dianna Agron was no doubt thrilled to be at the prestigious and star-studded event.
But the Glee actress was probably not so happy when her beautiful dress revealed slightly too much as she later left the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty Fashion Gala, held on Thursday evening at London's V&A Museum.
The 28-year-old had wowed on the red carpet in her floor-length black gown with an incredibly deep plunging neckline and full skirt.

Whoops! Dianna Agron accidentally exposed too much of herself as she left the Alexander McQueen gala in London on Thursday night, the low-cut top in which she went braless slipping open

But the V-neck design of the garment betrayed her later on as she gave more than just a glimpse of her side-boob and cleavage while going braless.
With the well-cut dress hovering dangerously low and just above her navel, it's almost a wonder that she didn't fully expose herself throughout the evening.
Despite the wardrobe malfunction, though, the blonde beauty looked to be having a great time mingling with the likes of Kate Moss, David and Victoria Beckham, Naomi Campbell, Princess Beatrice and Poppy Delevingne.

She looked impeccable on the red carpet in her black gown, with its flattering full skirt with a slight wrapover detail, and a pale blue satin ribbon tied around her waist.
The American star edged up her glamorous look with her blonde bob styled into a messy 'do, a pleasantly haphazard halo around her face while her eyes were dramatically enhanced with a sultry, smoky shadow.
She finished her showstopping look with a couple of decorative necklaces sat neatly on her decolletage, and a chic little clutch bag in charcoal grey.
Malfunction: However, as she turned to the side her breast was clearly visible

As she stepped out later on, leaving the venue after enjoying the spoils of the evening, she revealed that the dress had a rather high split up the front, flaunting her slender legs as she walked.
Dianna has recently been spending time over in the UK and also in the French capital, where she attended a number of catwalk shows during Paris Fashion Week.
And she also enjoyed herself during awards season, attending the BAFTA Awards in February in London, and Harvey Weinstein's prestigious post-show bash.
She has also been busy promoting her new movie, political thriller Zipper, in which she stars opposite Patrick Wilson.
The movie follows married and rising prosecutor Sam Ellis (Patrick), who sets his sights on his office's beautiful intern, Dalia (Dianna).
After an inappropriate encounter with the looker, Sam decides to hire an escort to avoid an office romance with Dalia.

It is believed that McQueen - alongside other fashion houses - had not been big fans of Victoria and were never keen to dress the star for big occasions.
However, her hard work and impressive fashion collection have helped her to win support from the likes of Marc Jacobs, Roland Mouret and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour making her one of the most exciting names in fashion.
Victoria is known to have a great friendship with head of the McQueen fashion house, Sarah Burton, with insiders claiming that her daughter Harper is best friend with Burton's twins.

In one room, the Cabinet of Curiosities, 120 garments and accessories can be seen, including his signature "Armadillo" shoes, a number of headdresses by his friend and collaborator Philip Treacy and a white strapless gown that was spray-painted by robots in one of his iconic shows.

The exhibition, which was originally shown at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, is a homecoming for the designer whose earlier work was heavily influenced heavily by London where he grew up and based his label.
McQueen was known for his ability to shock and his autumn/winter 1995 collection "Highland Rape" which featured disheveled looking models in torn clothing was considered a classic example.
