But tonight Jessie J made sure she put on an energetic show as she took her place on stage at Capital FM's Summertime Ball.
The 24-year-old singer opened her set with a high energy rendition of Do It Like A Dude which she mashed up with Jay Z and Kanye West's smash hit Paris.

Jessie was seen jumping up and down dressed in a pair of tiny leather shorts which were covered in studs, a Boy London T-shirt and a cropped leather jacket also embellished with spikes.
It's clear Jessie was relishing being able to move about the stage and she made reference to her accident preparing for the show last year.
She told the crowd: 'A small part of me is just praying I don't fall over or fall off anything, because it's amazing to be at the Summertime Ball and be able to run around in front of you guys. There are stairs, though. They might scare me; they're a little slippery.'

As well as performing a pitch perfect live set Jessie also said a few positive words to try and inspire her fans.
She told the 80,000-strong crowd: 'I see a lot of young people in here, but sometimes it needs somebody to tell them that its going to be alright.'
'I've been there when you don't always fit in, but don't dilute yourself. Every single day, just reach for your dreams. I know it's cheesy but it's the truth.'

The Voice judge brought out Rizzle Kicks onto the stage to perform a rendition of her hit Price Tag.
As well as performing Who You Are and Laserlight the brunette finished off her set with Domino.
Cheryl Cole, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and Usher were just some of the artists who also performed at The Summertime ball.
