She’s always been a keen runner and admits that she tries to get in a jog wherever she is in the world.
And Ellie Goulding’s vigorous exercise routine has clearly paid off judging by a snap she shared of herself in her bikini.
The singer, who is usually pretty modest about her figure, proudly posted the saucy snap of herself proving she’s as much as a bikini babe as the next star.

Lying on her back in a skimpy black bikini the 26-year-old shows off just how slim and toned she is.
The often pale star looks like she’s picked up a spot of colour as her skin featured an attractive bronze hue.
With legs bent, it looks like she may be sucking in her stomach a bit as her ribs can be seen sticking out.

Clearly enjoying a break in her busy schedule the Light songstress can be seen laughing as a friend takes the picture.
Accompanying the image, she wrote: ‘Chill before next flight to BRISBANE.’
Ellie was in Singapore when the picture was taken, as part of the South East Asian leg of her tour.

While the image is likely to go down very well with the male contingent of Goulding fans, it will probably also please her new man Jeremy Irvine.
The actor and singer are yet to officially announce they are a couple but they were seen being very affectionate with each other at a Brits after-party, even kissing each other on the lips.
British songstress Ellie is thought to have been dating the hunky actor since October after calling time on her seven-month romance with DJ Skrillex - real name Sonny Moore - in September 2012 after the pressures of a transatlantic relationship proved too much to handle.

Before that Ellie enjoyed another high-profile relationship with Radio 1 DJ Greg James.
Despite appearing confident with her body image, she recently revealed it hasn’t always be like that: ‘When I was younger, I was never the attractive one in my family. My younger sister Jordan – who’s actually a half-sister and is 20 – is really pretty. My older sister Isabel, 27, was taller, with blonde hair and a beautiful figure.
‘I dyed my light-brown hair black, had lip piercings and knew I wasn’t the pretty girl in my group. It definitely made me feel insecure. I was a real nerd and worked hard at school.
‘Back then I didn’t understand that guys would go for looks more than anything, the girl who was incredibly pretty and womanly, and I was never that.’
