She's recently been seen on screen looking depressed and dowdy as her character Tina McIntyre struggles to overcome giving away her surrogate baby.
However, actress Michelle Keegan looked a world away from her downcast Coronation Street persona as she attended the Irish Derby on Saturday.
Despite complaining about the disappointing weather, the 26-year-old certainly looked the part in her dress and hat as she arrived at the Kildare races.

The brunette beauty complemented her year-round tan in white patterned Kelly Love dress, which she teamed with a John Lewis hat and River Island heels.
She gave a bit colour to her ensemble with a bright pink Zara clutchbag.
Michelle paid a flying visit to Kildare - 60 kilometres outside of the Irish capital Dublin - on Saturday to judge the Best Dressed Lady.

Ahead of her appearance, Michelle tweeted: 'Getting ready for the races today in Ireland!! So excited!! I really hope the weather picks up though! ...Summer my a**!! X.'
Following the races, Michelle hopped on a late night flight back home to Manchester, where she was planning to have a cosy night in.
She added: 'Had a fab day in Kildare now on my way home for a chilled out night... Can't wait!!!! #takeaway #onesie #dvd that's abit of me 2night! :) X.'

Her boyfriend Mark Wright was in Majorca on a lads' holiday.
She tweeted Mark and the gang, admitting she was jealous of the Balearic island's warm temperatures.
