The birthday girl wore... red: Preeya Kalidas stands out in scarlet as she parties for her 33rd

It's the prerogative of a birthday girl to ensure she stands out on her big day.

And that was certainly the mantra Preeya Kalidas lived by on Friday night as she headed out to party for her 33rd birthday.

The former EastEnders actress ensured she celebrated in style as she headed to a pop-up restaurant at Embassy nightclub with her group of friends.

And there was going to be no disguising Preeya as she dressed to impress in a bright red mini-dress.

She showed off her smooth legs as she accentuated them with a pair of co-ordinating scarlet animal print heels.

And in case that wasn't enough red she also painted her nails scarlet and matched it to her lipstick.

Kalidas looked confident as she posed for photos at the entrance to the venue.

And she ensured all sides were papped as she turned around to show off the large cut out on her back to flash some flesh.

She was clearly in the party spirit as she wrote on Twitter ahead of the bash: 'Can't wait to see all the good people tonight.'

Her best pal Kelly Brook was rumoured to be joining her for the festivities but it's not known whether she did end up showing her face.

But nevertheless Preeya seemed to be enjoying herself as another friend posted a picture of her smiling and still looking glamorous while inside.

Preeya has become quite the party girl of late and is often seen out on the town with Brook in tow.

She was last seen enjoying the launch of the Tia Maria Music Room last week.

And she's certainly got a favourite colour as she again wore all over red to the bash.
