Selena Gomez celebrated the start of the hot summer season with a trip to Malibu, California.
The 20-year-old singer enjoyed lunch at The Beach Cafe and then a stroll on the sand on Sunday where the only tune she was hearing was the sound of waves and seagulls.
Selena stayed cool in a billowing ivory top over a pair of cut-off denim shorts that allowed her to show off her lean legs and her deep tan.

The warm sand must have felt wonderful on Selena's bare feet as she took in the breeze with her friend, actress Francia Raisa, but she kept her T-strap sandals close for later.
While Selena shied from attention, 24-year-old Francia seemed to welcome it as she paraded her curvy figure in a turquoise bikini.

Now it appears that Selena has indeed moved on with Ed, who, at 22, is considered an older and more 'mature' choice for the songstress.
The Come And Get It star, who considers Justin out of her life for good, is reportedly hooking up with Sheeran after being introduced by their mutual friend Taylor Swift last month.
