Looking grape! Karen Gillan stuns in semi sheer purple dress for Guardians of the Galaxy premiere in LA
It must be a colour that she is fond of.
Karen Gillan dressed in the same royal purple as her character Nebula in Guardians of the Galaxy, as she arrived at the films premiere at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Monday.
The 26-year-old actress stunned in the semi-sheer dress, which highlighted her slim and statuesque frame.

The Scottish actress looked gorgeous with her short red hair styled into a quiff, matching the delicate gold waistband of her dress to her strappy heels.
The British red head was certainly excited for the US premiere as she tweeted: 'Premiere day in LA! Excitement!!!! #GuardiansOfTheGalaxy'.
Former Dr Who co-star Noel CLarke wished the talented actress the best for the premiere via Twitter: 'Oh man!!! Sweet! Break a leg (In the good luck way) and have fun. NC'.

Also starring in the film is actress Zoe Saldana who plays Gamora - the green skinned alien with superhuman abilities - in the film which features Chris Pratt in the main role of Peter Quill/Star Lord.
Zoe was joined at the event by the film's director James Gunn and co-star Dave Bautista who plays super strong Drax The Destroyer.

'We had maybe seven or eight camera tests we had to do, when it came to all the characters and for mine specifically it was, "How alien do we want Gamora to be?" she told Moviefone in a recent interview.
'And what I was thinking was, "She just needs to be pretty." And that's usually a thing that I don't think about with other characters that I play but for some reason because I was going to be green and I was going to be the lead girl, I just wanted teenage boys to find me attractive,' she admitted.

The star-studded film also features Benecio Del Toro as villain The Collector and Lee Pace as baddie Ronan and both were in Hollywood to view the blockbuster.
Bradley Cooper doesn't appear on screen but rather voices the computer animated mercenary Rocket Raccoon in the movie, and the actor happily signed autographs and took selfies with fans outside the event.
Glenn Close - who plays Rael, the commander of the Nova Corps, an intergalactic peace-keeping force cut a striking figure in a white trouser suit with lacy sleeves.
Guardians of the Galaxy will hit UK cinemas on August 1.
