"I look around and you know what I see? Losers," says Chris Pratt during the opening sequence of the latest Guardians of the Galaxy trailer. The "losers" in question are a selection of intergalactic misfits - Chris Pratt's Star-Lord, Vin Diesel's tree-like Groot and Bradley Cooper's chatterbox Rocket Raccoon who team up to save the earth as the aforementioned Guardians.
With plenty of early hype, a killer soundtrack and primed for a summer blockbuster release date, Guardians is generating plenty of excitement among fans, not least for the epic fight sequence between Karen Gillan's villainous Nebula and Zoe Saldana's green Gamora - a showdown we're given a good ol' glimpse of in the trailer below. Take a look...

Karen Gillan and Zoe Saldana square off in Guardians of the Galaxy featurette

The former Doctor Who companion talks about the joys of "staying on the dark side"
As the excitement continues to mount for the theatrical release of Guardians of the Galaxy next week, the makers have treated us to another sneaky featurette from the film, this time focusing on the sibling rivalry between Gamora (Zoe Saldana) and Nebula (Karen Gillan), the two sisters on opposing sides of the fight to save the galaxy.
The featurette (below) gives a taste of what to expect from Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, which follows five misfits thrown together to stop gold-like forces, including a few nifty fight scenes and interviews with the cast and director James Gunn.

Speaking of Saldana's Gamora, Gunn says: "She's about as bad as bad can get. She's an assassin and compassion is not something she's learnt.” However, as Saldana herself is quick to add, it's not easy being green: “She grows up to be this stealth assassin, she's lethal, but she's trying to be the good person.”
As for former Doctor Who companion Karen Gillan's blue, and very bad Nebula, it's a different story.
“Nebula is also a deadly assassin, which is just the coolest,” Gillan enthuses. “Gamora goes over to the good side, but Nebula definitely stays on the dark side.”

So, will the sisters resolve their differences? Saldana leads us to think possibly not. “If she shows an ounce of fear, her own siblings will turn on her. Very tense household, actually.”
Guardians of the Galaxy is released in the UK on 31st July
