As if her new high-profile gig isn't already something to celebrate, she's now marking another year on the calendar.

New Xtra Factor host Sarah-Jane Crawford flashed a trademark big smile as she was seen reporting for duties on her 1xtra radio show on Tuesday.

And the reason behind the extra spring in her step may well have been because it was her 29th birthday.

Wearing a two-tone pink and red blouse, the pretty broadcaster showed off her shapely legs in a pair of black skinny jeans as a black leather purse rested on her shoulder.

With her phone and sunglasses wrestling for attention on one of her hands, the host completed her look with a pair of black stilettos as she made her way to the BBC's London studios.

And one of her many well-wishers was Nicole Scherzinger, who made an appearance on Sarah-Jane's radio show on Monday as she promoted her hew single Your Love.

DJ Sarah-Jane's cheery look was mirrored on Monday, when she was also spotted outside her workplace showing off her fit physique in a little black dress.

She teamed her sleeveless number with a patterned pair of ballet flats and a cream leather purse.

With her black, wavy hair cascading well beyond her shoulders, the star carried a black cardigan and a pair of sunglasses.

And, as temperatures soared on the sunny day, Sarah-Jane kept herself hydrated with a bottle of water.

Sarah-Jane was in good company, as she was joined in the studio by former X Factor judge Nicole.

Last month, Sarah-Jane took to her Instagram account to share snapshots of herself with some of the X Factor judges, including Simon Cowell, new recruit Mel B and returning Cheryl Cole.

Alongside a picture of herself with Simon and Cheryl - and Cheryl's dog - she wrote: 'With @LadyCCole @CherylCole in her home town .... And she's letting @SimonCowell hold Binky #puppylove'

Interestingly, she's been rather silent in sharing her thoughts on social media about Cheryl's recent surprise wedding to her French boyfriend of just three months, Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.

Cole, 31, and Jean-Bernard, 33, reportedly tied the knot on a beach in Mustique in front of just four witnesses.

Her mother Joan and PA Lily England were two of the guests as she wed on the white sands of Macaroni Beach, and it is also thought her brother Garry was present for the occasion.

Sharing the news online, Cheryl said: ‘I usually do not discuss my personal life but to stop the speculation I want to share my happy news.

'Jean-Bernard and I married on 7/7/14. We are very happy and excited to move forward with our lives together.’
