Charli XCX puts on a leggy display in a Sixties-inspired white skirt suit and gloves as she takes to the stage in London

It was a more demure stage look for Charli XCX on Wednesday night when she covered up in a white skirt suit.
The Boom Clap singer, 22, marked Day 1 of MTV Brand New 2015 Presented by Emporio Armani Diamonds with a suitably show-stopping performance at London's Islington Assembly Hall.
She wore a white sleeveless waistcoat and a matching mini skirt with a Sixties theme, adding gloves and Linda Farrow sunglasses for a ladylike touch.

It was a high glamour look for Charli, who wore her hair down and a pair of retro cat eye sunglasses perched on her nose throughout.
Charli added a little heel height as she drew attention to her slim pins with clumpy slip on shoes in white to match her stage ensemble.
The singer pouted through scarlet lips after belting out her hits and broke into dance moves to entertain the crowd.

The sultry singer still managed to make a demure look sexy with her stage antics, and she was pictured removing her gloves with her teeth and getting down to her knees to reach her fans.
Charli XCX headlined the night, which celebrates MTV's list of artists that they're tipping to be big next year, including James Bay and Sinead Harnett - who also performed on the night.
A winner of the MTV Brand New act will be decided with a public vote on the MTV website.
Later that night, the singer cloaked her finger in a floor-skimming black and white coat, changing out of her sixties ensemble and into something more contemporary.
Sultry: Charli, who's usually seen in skimpier stage ensembles, still had her feisty spirit when she removed her gloves with her teeth

She wore black leggings with white socks and patent slip on shoes but also changed her crimson lipstick for a pink one.
Charli released her debut album Sucker in October last year and since the success of her first single Boom Clap, has followed up with tracks featuring Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora.
Her latest song Doing It is tipped for success with The Voice coach Rita sharing the vocals and showcasing her equally sultry spirit for the music video.
The video, which was released last week, features bright colors, cowgirl costumes, a mechanical bull, and a Spring Breakers-style water gun robbery.
Covering up: Charli donned a long coat to conceal her post-gig ensemble
All smiles: The singer looked pretty pleased with herself as she left
Quick change: Later, Charli left the venue in leggings, white socks and a long black and white
Peace: Charli's latest single is a collaboration with The Voice coach Rita Ora for a track called Doing It
