Felicity Jones admits she tired of being labelled 'new actress' after 20 year career - InStyle magazine

'How long can I be up and coming?' Felicity Jones admits she tired of being labelled 'new actress' after 20 year career

She's been acting since the tender age of 11 after landing in a role in hit children's TV series The Worst Witch.
So Felicity Jones can be forgiven when she tires of being labelled as a 'new actress' after 20 years in the business.
Speaking to the new March issue of InStyle UK, the 31-year-old asks: 'How long can I be up and coming?'

The spotlight is now shining on the actress brighter than ever thanks to her critically-acclaimed and Oscar-nominated performance as Jane Hawking in The Theory Of Everything.
While Felicity is enjoying the accolades, she finds it frustrating being labelled as the hot new actress, having been working for years.
Among her many credits include a TV adaptation of Jane Austen's Northanger Abbey, Chalet Girl and The Archers.

She said: 'I've been breaking for 20 years. I feel like this is it. No more breaking through. I'm here.'
Despite her lengthy career, Felicity admitted she is rarely recognised in public so is able to go about her normal life.
She said: 'I'm completely anonymous in most places. I think, also, it's a mental switch. If you walk around expecting people to notice and you put out a certain feeling, then you'll get it in return.'
Having filmed together in late 2013, Felicity has been reunited with co-star Eddie Redmayne on the awards circuit.
Eddie has already won the Golden Globe and Screen Actors' Guild Best Actor trophy for his performance as Stephen Hawking and is tipped to take the Oscar and Bafta.
Meanwhile, Felicity is also nominated for an Oscar and Bafta for her performance at next month's ceremonies.
Speaking about their chemistry, she explained: 'We have very similar ways of working. We both like to have lots of preparation, so a lot of it was just being in a rehearsal space in London and making mistakes and trying things out, and earning each other's trust.'
