The DWTS pro had Jamie Chung in a bit of a spin as they joined a dance class in New York on Tuesday.
According to an insider the 29-year-old star was being a little flirty as he and the actress showed off their moves at the David Barton Gym.

The insider told the DailyMail.com: 'He was definitely flirty.'
But before you can say 'That was quick,' Derek has not moved on from reported new love interest Kate Hudson just yet - instead he was getting his flirt on in the name of female empowerment.
The Dancing With The Stars pro and Jamie were joined by model and model and DJ Hannah Bronfman to mark the year anniversary of campaign #aerieREAL, which celebrates women's different body types with the clothing and lingerie label aerie shunning retouching in its lingerie advertisements.

The celebrities joined with the class to dance around to Beyonce's Run The World (Girls).
'He was giving dance tips and encouragement throughout the class.'
However, it seems the dancing star may have been thinking about Kate the whole time.

Speaking at the event, Derek dished on what he though was most attractive about a woman - and the description sounded a lot like the always sparkly Kate.
He said confidence is what draws him most to a lady: 'What I look for in a woman is radiance.
'When you see a woman, when she walks into a room and you just see her glow and you can just see this energy projecting off her and that's confidence, that's self-esteem and that's believing in who they are and knowing who they.

The dancing event was also a celebration for Derek, as it was his first day in New York, where he is living for the next few months while he stars in the New York Spring Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall.

The insider said he was telling the class all about it: 'It was his first official night in NYC for the next four months.
'He was saying how he was excited to dive into a new experience after his DTWS departure was announced this week.'
Jamie meanwhile also was having a blast hamming it up for the cameras.

The Big Hero 6 star is currently focusing on her upcoming nuptials Bryan Greenberg later this year.
