Scarlett Johansson wears red to the Captain America: The Winter Soldier UK premiere

Living up to her name: Scarlett Johansson wears red to the Captain America: The Winter Soldier UK premiere… but there’s no sign of her baby bump yet!

If there’s one colour Scarlett Johansson knows how to wear, it’s the shade she shares her name with.
On Thursday night, she proved that once more by stepping out in a stunning red cocktail dress with matching lipstick and a manicure, to attend the London premiere of Captain America: The Winter soldier.
But there was no sign of the actress’s baby bump just yet having announced this month that she was expecting her first child.

Scarlett is having a baby with her French fiancé Romain Dauriac, but she was flying solo on Thursday to promote the Marvel sequel in which she reprises her role as S.H.I.E.L.D agent Natasha Romanoff AKA Black Widow.
At a press conference earlier in the day, Scarlett said she felt ‘forever wounded’ after suffering various injuries as a result of her action movie roles.
Having slipped back into a slinky catsuit of Black Widow, for the third time Johansson admitted she has been suffering bumps and bruises ever since her first appearance as the former KGB agent in 2010's Iron Man 2.

‘I am forever wounded from these movies,’ Scarlett said. ‘I have old injuries from Iron Man 2 and I keep re-injuring them. That's part of the joy and part of the process, I guess.'
At a London press conference she said that despite the risks, she prefers to do as much of her own stuntwork as possible, and enjoys comparing the "battle wounds" with her male co-stars, who include Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie and Samuel L Jackson.
‘As you sustain more injuries over time, it hurts for longer and things like that, but I guess I like to do as much of the stuntwork as possible and you take a little bit of a risk with that,’ she explained.

‘I'd rather that than to hand off my scenes to the stunt team. As amazing as they are all the time, I'd rather do some of it and have some battle wounds. That way, I can compare bruises.’
Also at the premiere held at Westfield, was her co-star Samuel L. Jackson, but he didn’t share Scarlett’s views on stuntwork.
The 65-year-old star said he wasn’t worried about his stand-in's welfare, claiming it's part of his job to get hurt.

‘I use my stunt man extensively I have no issues with him being hurt that's what he's paid to do,’ the actor said at the press conference held at London’s Dorchester Hotel.
‘He loves it, he's from a stunt family, his father was a stunt man, all of his brothers are stunt men.
'Before they eat breakfast in the morning their dad kicked them down the stairs, or made them jump out of the window to come down to get their breakfast. So I used Kianti [Elam], God, he worked more than l do sometimes.’
Samuel added: ‘It's way better to see him. You stand there, they throw a punch, you duck out of the way, they fight, you get up and go “urgh”, that's it. Believe me, it's good for you.’

Jasmin Walia turns up to Aladdin panto press night dressed as Princess Jasmine

Wishing for a part? Jasmin Walia turns up to Aladdin panto press night dressed as Princess Jasmine

Her first name is Jasmin and even she probably wouldn't disagree she likes to be treated like a princess.
However, perhaps dressing like Princess Jasmine from Aladdin when she isn't even in the pantomime was a bit over-the-top for TOWIE star Jasmin Walia.
The reality TV star went in full costume to the press night of the new production of Aladdin at the New Wimbledon Theatre in London on Monday night.

Clearly thrilled with her toned figure, Jasmin showed off her flat tummy in a blue cropped top and loose trousers.
Rather awkwardly, it appeared Jasmin was the only one who had gone in costume, with most of the celebrity guests leaving it up to the cast to do the dressing up.
However, as panto fans know, there isn't a Princess Jasmine in the original Aladdin tale, having been conceived by Disney for their 1992 animation film.

No doubt, Jasmin may have felt a bit disappointed to see her Princess doppelganger wasn't part of the stage production on Monday night.
Missing out on the evening was Jasmin's TOWIE love interest Dan Osborne, who she has been enjoying friendly 'dates' with in the most recent series of the ITV2 show.
However, she was in good company with another TOWIE co-star Frankie Essex who also attended.

'And after doing stand-up for so long, which is a weird and solitary experience, I’m looking forward to being with a big group of people and having a laugh.'
The production also stars musical veteran Oliver Thornton, known perhaps most famously for his role in the stage show of Priscilla: Queen Of The Desert, in the lead role of Aladdin.
And the role marks something of a departure for Oliver, being his very first pantomime.
