Scarlett Johansson wears red to the Captain America: The Winter Soldier UK premiere

Living up to her name: Scarlett Johansson wears red to the Captain America: The Winter Soldier UK premiere… but there’s no sign of her baby bump yet!

If there’s one colour Scarlett Johansson knows how to wear, it’s the shade she shares her name with.
On Thursday night, she proved that once more by stepping out in a stunning red cocktail dress with matching lipstick and a manicure, to attend the London premiere of Captain America: The Winter soldier.
But there was no sign of the actress’s baby bump just yet having announced this month that she was expecting her first child.

Scarlett is having a baby with her French fiancé Romain Dauriac, but she was flying solo on Thursday to promote the Marvel sequel in which she reprises her role as S.H.I.E.L.D agent Natasha Romanoff AKA Black Widow.
At a press conference earlier in the day, Scarlett said she felt ‘forever wounded’ after suffering various injuries as a result of her action movie roles.
Having slipped back into a slinky catsuit of Black Widow, for the third time Johansson admitted she has been suffering bumps and bruises ever since her first appearance as the former KGB agent in 2010's Iron Man 2.

‘I am forever wounded from these movies,’ Scarlett said. ‘I have old injuries from Iron Man 2 and I keep re-injuring them. That's part of the joy and part of the process, I guess.'
At a London press conference she said that despite the risks, she prefers to do as much of her own stuntwork as possible, and enjoys comparing the "battle wounds" with her male co-stars, who include Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie and Samuel L Jackson.
‘As you sustain more injuries over time, it hurts for longer and things like that, but I guess I like to do as much of the stuntwork as possible and you take a little bit of a risk with that,’ she explained.

‘I'd rather that than to hand off my scenes to the stunt team. As amazing as they are all the time, I'd rather do some of it and have some battle wounds. That way, I can compare bruises.’
Also at the premiere held at Westfield, was her co-star Samuel L. Jackson, but he didn’t share Scarlett’s views on stuntwork.
The 65-year-old star said he wasn’t worried about his stand-in's welfare, claiming it's part of his job to get hurt.

‘I use my stunt man extensively I have no issues with him being hurt that's what he's paid to do,’ the actor said at the press conference held at London’s Dorchester Hotel.
‘He loves it, he's from a stunt family, his father was a stunt man, all of his brothers are stunt men.
'Before they eat breakfast in the morning their dad kicked them down the stairs, or made them jump out of the window to come down to get their breakfast. So I used Kianti [Elam], God, he worked more than l do sometimes.’
Samuel added: ‘It's way better to see him. You stand there, they throw a punch, you duck out of the way, they fight, you get up and go “urgh”, that's it. Believe me, it's good for you.’

Amy Childs, Sinitta and Steve Redgrave will compete in The Jump as full line-up is confirmed

Taking a Jump of faith! Amy Childs, Sinitta, Ritchie Neville and Steve Redgrave will compete in The Jump as full line-up is confirmed

It is too late to slope off for the 12 celebrities ski-suited and booted to take part in a new winter sports challenge show, starting next week.
Olympian Sir Steve Redgrave will be joined on the slippery slope by stars including Sinitta, Amy Childs and ex-England cricketer Darren Gough.
They will battle it out in Channel 4's The Jump as they take on the bobsleigh, skeleton, speed-skating, slalom skiing and cross-country skiing with the worst performers having to brave a huge ski jump to stay in the competition.

Also taking part in hair-raising feats are former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt, presenters Anthea Turner and Melinda Messenger, and Ritchie Neville of reformed boyband 5ive.
Winter Olympics star skier Graham Bell and skeleton gold medallist Amy Williams will be among those training the daring hopefuls.
They will also be coached by daredevil Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards, who won last year's ITV Splash! highdiving contest, as he teaches them how to ski jump.

He said: 'This competition is as much about mental strength as it is about physical agility. Winter sports are tough to master; it takes skill, guts and determination to get round a course.
'The ultimate test will be the jump itself. I know how hard it can be when the world is watching.'
Former The Only Way is Essex star, Amy, tweeted about the show this week, saying: Thank you all for your amazing messages about #thejump so nervous but am working so hard... Hardest I have ever worked. DETERMINATION.'
While Sinitta too to Twitter to add: 'Good morning from Austria... speed skating this am. Out favourite--NOT #thejump'.

It's arguably the most dangerous celebrity reality show to date so it stands to reason that it would lose some of its famous faces to injuries before it even aired.
The series lost two stars in two days after Flash Gordon star Sam Jones pulled out with a shoulder injury just hours after Tara Palmer-Tomkinson quit after deciding the show was 'not for her'.
A spokesperson for Channel 4 said: 'We had hoped that he would recover in time to still take part in the show but unfortunately he has had to pull out of the series on medical advice.'
Sam was replaced by Ritchie, while Laura filled Tara's spot.
While it could be understood if Sam had hurt himself during a fall on the show, it was in fact an entirely different way that he suffered the injury.
He damaged his shoulder when he celebrated landing a successful jump by raising his arms, punching the air and shouting 'Yeah!', according to reports.
Speaking about taking on Sam's role in the show, Ritchie said he was suffering from a severe case of nerves.
He said: 'Good clean "adventure" where you're absolutely terrified is, for some unbeknownst reason, one of my greatest pleasures.
'Having no previous experience I've had to learn so much but I am loving it. When you're up against the likes of Sir Steve Redgrave, my biggest fear is looking soft by comparison and that is the greatest motivator.'

Happy Birthday Ultimo! The A-list's favourite bust-boosting bra brand celebrates its 14th anniversary

Happy Birthday Ultimo! The A-list's favourite bust-boosting bra brand celebrates its 14th anniversary

    • The brand launched in 1999 with a classic silicone filled bra
    • Current face is Luisiana Lopilato, past faces include Kelly Brook and Mel B
    • Brand shot to fame when worn by Julia Roberts in the film Erin Brockovich
    • Boss Michelle Mone says last year has been tough but now improving
From Helena Christensen to Luisiana Lopilato, Britain's favourite bust-boosting bra brand has had a stellar succession of leading ladies in its campaigns over the years.
Starting with Lisa Snowdon in 1999, Ultimo has also worked with Penny Lancaster, Rachel Stewart, Peaches Geldof and Scary Spice, Mel B.
And to celebrate the brand's 14th birthday, we have brought together all of Ultimo's leading ladies.

'I am so thrilled to be celebrating the brand’s 14th birthday. Ultimo has grown from a single, small idea into a heritage UK lingerie brand,' said founder Michelle Mone, 41, herself no stranger to appearing in front of the camera in her underwear.
'I’m so proud of my team and excited about the year ahead, which is going to be enormous for Ultimo.'
The lingerie label, which launched in 1999, is famous for its cleavage-boosting designs and was one of the first to use celebrities rather than models in its campaigns.
Its first bra contained silicone gel and promised a boost without resorting to surgery. The enhancing lingerie proved a huge hit and a mega-brand was born.

'Ultimo launched with one bra concept and we have since had huge successes with other creations, including Ultimo Promise and the Backless Body,' added Mone.
'For me, our success is all down to the fact that we’re constantly striving to create that next incredible invention – paired with unrivalled fit and design.'
The last year has been a difficult one for Mone, thanks to her split from husband Michael, who co-founded the label, and news that her former flame is to launch a rival lingerie firm.
Matters were made worse by allegations of an affair with former Ultimo head designer, Samantha Bunn, who has now joined Michael at Pendulum Apparel.
'The past 12 months have been pretty tough to say the least, due to my separation,' admitted Mone.
But according to the lingerie supremo, prospects are looking decidedly perky as the dust settles in the wake of the split.
'I’m delighted to say that business is back on track and growing steadily,' she added. 'Our partnership with MAS Holdings means the sky is the limit and I’m very excited about Ultimo’s future.
    'Here’s to another 14 years.'
