As one of the morning's most important people, Emmy Rossum made sure to sparkle on Saturday.
The 28-year-old actress made an elegant entrance in a patterned green, black, and white dress, as she arrived at the 2015 Film Independent Spirit Awards Filmmaker Grant and Nominee Brunch held at BOA Steakhouse in West Hollywood.
The flowy short-sleeved frock was layered with a sheer layer of fabric and featured ruffle details.

Emmy brightened up her daytime look with a scarlet slick on her lips and matching rouge.
The Shameless star joined Michael Peña to co-host the intimate gathering that celebrated the Spirit Awards Nominees and awards $75,000 in grants to emerging filmmakers.

'Emmy Rossum is both a past Spirit Award nominee for her work in Songcatcher and a LA Film Festival alum,' said Film Independent President Josh Welsh.
'Her film Comet had its premiere at the Festival in 2014. We are thrilled she will be joining us to celebrate this year’s Spirit Award nominees and give out the filmmaker grants.'
Emmy also previously honoured with a Golden Globe award for her performance as Christine in the iconic story, Phantom Of The Opera.

The actress can currently be seen in Showtime’s dark comedy series, Shameless, in which she plays Fiona Gallagher.
Shameless will begin its fifth season on January 11th.
The 30th Film Independent Spirit Awards will stream live on IFC on February 21.
