Having not had the best of luck with men, Jade explained that the two of them have her bandmate Jesy Nelson and her fiancé, Jake Roche, to thank for their love.
Giggling as she looked back on her love life before meeting Jed, she quipped 'It only took a while' to find him.
Though she admitted Jake was the one who managed to find her Mr.Right, with the Northern beauty explaining how it was down to the Rixton singer that she met the 25-year-old rocker.
'Jesy's fiancé is really good friends with him,' she said. 'And I think it was when we were in America last year I sat down with Jake, and I said, "Listen I've been on so many dates, and they've all fell on their arse... it's all going terribly wrong, so you need to help us!"

And having a quick think Jake, now a proven match-maker, came up with the right man, with Jade recalling:
'He said there's this lad in a rock band he knew, and I was remember thinking, alright I've never been with a rocker before so I'll give that a go. And here we are!'
Jade explained that the attraction was 'pretty instant', and that's how she knew it was worth chasing the chiseled bassist after their first meeting at one of his gigs.
'You know what, it was pretty instant,' she said of the chemistry between them. 'I've never had that before, so I knew that it was worth chasing.'
A mesmerizing man: Looking back on their first meeting, Jade recalled: 'I went to see him for the first time at a show, and I was just like mesmerized like a little schoolgirl!'

Elaborating on the chase, Jade laughed as she revealed that she did have to put in some work to get her man, admitting:
'I did sort of have to chase him for a few months to get the end results, but I'm not a quitter so I kept going, and well a year later here we are.'
And it seems that the Could Have Been Me rocker made quite the impression as he took to the stage at the gig.

She elaborated on the point, saying: 'I'm so not like a rock chick, and I was doing my best to make myself look all cool and rocky for this first date... and in the end I thought, "What am I doing?!" So ,I'm just being myself now
And though the two of them have huge schedules when it comes to work, Jade explained she's 'very happy' with the relationship.
Making it work: Although she admitted distance can be tricky, saying: 'We hardly ever see each other as he's in the US and I'm on tour, but we fly to see each other as much as possible'

'I'm very happy,' she said, although the Secret Love Song singer admitted distance can be tricky (Jed and The Struts are currently making big waves in America while Little Mix have been in the studio and on tour).
'We hardly ever see each other as he's signed in the US and I'm always on tour, but we fly to see each other as much as possible,' She explained, adding:

However, fans of Little Mix shouldn't too worried at the prospect of Jade and the girls having a break, as Jade she revealed their highly-anticipated album will drop before the winter holidays.
And it would seem that Little Mix have really hit their stride on album number four, as she said:
'It's moving a lot faster than any of the other albums have done, because we want to release it before Christmas, which means we have to have the first single ready pretty soon.'
No one could accuse the girls of not working hard either, five years on from their first break, and the four singers haven't stopped recording, performing or working for more than a few months.
It's nearly here: Jade explained it would be out in the next few months, saying: 'It's moving a lot faster than any of the other albums have because we want to release it before Christmas'

And it seems that album number four started while they were hard at work on their globe-trotting Get Weird tour.
'We've been setting up writing camps with people we know, so even we if can't make it to a writing session the music is still sure to be relateable to us,' said Jade.
And it would seem the girls have pushed the boat out when it comes to who they've been penning music withe, with non other than Ryan Lewis coming on-board.
Talking of the sessions with the American record producer and DJ, she said: 'That was incredible, as he hasn't really worked with any other artists but Macklemore.'
And it seems their first single is ready to roll off the press already, as Jade saying the girls knew as soon as they wrote one song they 'knew'.

'Yeah, i think we have [picked it],' she revealed. 'It was weird as listening to the songs we have that is THE front-runner for a single, and it usually takes us ages to find as song for us to decide on, but this time we all said yes to it.'
But even with the girls hard-at-work in the studio, they managed to team up with McDonalds to provide one lucky fan with a dream come true this month.
Heading to one fan's birthday party at one of the chain's restaurants in South London Jade, Jesy, Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock gave Elise Burke the best birthday present ever.
