Jonathan Ross has gone all-out for his annual Halloween party - but he is just one of many Brits who have pulled out all the spooky stops in a bid to make their house the most haunted.
Builders were seen at the chat show host's north London home today ahead of the once-a-year event.while the workmen were stood on ladders, suggesting the decoration is going to be spectacular.
Fake corpses covered in blood were seen piled up outside the 55-year-old's property, with guests last year including Jimmy Carr, David Walliams and Claudia Schiffer.

Meanwhile Halloween-mad Welshman Martin Faulkner has spent more than £1,000 kitting out his own house of horror.
The 46-year-old started decking out his home with skulls, ouija boards, and gravestones to scare the kids when they came trick or treating.
But, instead, youngsters were attracted to the house and last year he gave out 140 bags of sweets to children who came knocking.
The dad-of-two said: 'They ran out and we had to go down to the shop and get some more.
It takes about a week to put up all the decorations but the property has now become an annual tourist attraction.
Mr Faulker, who works for engineering firm Keltbray, added: 'It's good watching cars pull up in the street and people jumping out to take photos.
'But we are looking at making it the final year now - it's getting to the point where I'm losing motivation to put it up.'
'I knocked up the bodies in the garage, I made them myself,' Martin said.
'They get fatter every year as I get more and more costumes for them.'

'The world can be a miserable place and this just helps cheer people up,' Ms Parker, the homeowner, said

There is still hope Martin's garden from hell will continue.
He said: 'There are people saying it can't stop and they are going to start a petition.
'People are still seeing it for the first time.'
Interest in the house, in Porth, Rhondda Cynon Taf, shows no sign of letting up.
'Someone asked me if I knew where the house was and showed me a picture of where I lived,' Martin said.

'Over the years it has cost me about £1,000.'
He even built in the garage what he dubbed a 'maze'.
'I bought CCTV so one year we were broadcasting kids going into the maze in the garage back to the TV in the house,' Martin said.
'I say it's a maze, there is only one way in and one way out.
'One year we had four police officers turn up and they wanted to go around the maze.
'But the two women turned around and had to come out again because they felt claustrophobic.'
Elsewhere in the country, 65-year-old Jean Brady has filled her garden with gravestones, skeletons and two-headed dolls in a bid to get kids into the scary spirit.
Ms Brady, from Liverpool, has been putting on similar displays for almost a decade and said her neighbours love the annual creepy showcase.
The pensioner said: 'I started with decorations inside and I just thought that other people may as well have the pleasure of seeing it so I started putting it all outside.'
Another of the freaky properties is owned by Martin Lee, 55, who lives in Manchester.
The nursery worker first threw his doors open to the public in October three years ago and thousands of guests have since been spooked by his house of horrors.
Mr Lee begins ordering the props from America in April, before spending six weeks decorating the home.

With creepy clowns, ghastly ghouls and scary spiders, Halloween is not a time for the faint-hearted.
But the owners of this house in North London might have taken Halloween to the next level with their spine-chilling window display.
The home in Crouch End is projecting some terrifying figures onto their windows, which are certain to make the easily, and not-so-easily, frightened jump.
The first clip shows a terrifying ghostly woman coming towards the window, with a fearsome look in her eyes.
Next, another ghostly figures appears at the window and screams at passers-by.
Her chilling eyes are piercing as she appears to lean into the street towards onlookers.
A man then appears at the window, but the first seen of him is a candelabra he is holding as he walks along.
He traipses across the window, looking out at the street below.
With creepy clowns, ghastly ghouls and scary spiders, Halloween is not a time for the faint-hearted. The piercing eyes terrify as the woman gets closer to the onlookers in the creepy display
When he comes back, he is headless.
The figure then bends down and picks his head back up off the floor, screwing it back onto his neck.
The terrifying projections were spotted by Yuk Moi, who tweeted: 'Definitely not for the faint-of-heart passing by...
