But Georgia May Foote and Brooke Vincent looked worlds away from Weatherfield as they strutted their stuff in striking scarlet ensembles at the 2013 TV Choice Awards at London's The Dorchester hotel on Monday night.
Leading the glamour as stars of the small screen took to the red carpet, the pair positively dazzled as they commanded attention in very similar off-shoulder numbers.

Brooke - who plays Sophie Webster in the ITV1 soap - opted for a retro-inpired jumpsuit for her moment in the spotlight, showing off her fabulous figure in the frilled flamenco-style garment.
Wearing her long brunette locks pulled back with loose curls framing her face, the soap beauty completed her red carpet look with a pair of towering peep toe heels by Christian Louboutin and a nude and white clutch bag.
Following her co-star's lead Georgia May - who plays teen mum Katy Armstrong in Corrie - also opted for an eye-catching scarlet off-shoulder number in the form of a slinky and sexy bandage dress.

On the other end of the scale, the Loose Women were also out in force for a night of fun and frolics, with newlywed Denise Welch leading the way as she posed on the red carpet with husband Lincoln Townley.
She was joined by co-stars Lisa Maxwell and Sally Lindsay, as well as Carol Vorderman, who looked a little underdressed in a heavy coat as she arrived at The Dorchester.
The 2013 TV Choice Awards sees the great and good of the small screen come together to celebrate the best of British television of the past 12 months.
Ant and Dec were the big winners at this year's ceremony, taking home three prizes, with Doctor Who following closely behind with two.
Coronation Street was awarded the prestigious Best Soap gong, with Michelle Keegan taking home Best Soap Actress and EastEnders' Shane Richie winning Best Soap Actor.
