American Hustle wins Best Picture of 2013 while Jennifer Lawrence is named Best Supporting Actress by New York critics

It has yet to hit cinemas, but already critics are hailing American Hustle as one of the best films of the year.
The New York Film Critics Circle voted the drama Best Picture at their annual awards ceremony on Tuesday.
Jennifer Lawrence was named Best Supporting Actress, with screenwriters Eric Singer and David O. Russell getting an award for Best Screenplay.

The attention for the film has easily kicked off Oscar buzz, which could see Jennifer get her second statuette in just over a year.
Meanwhile Cate Blanchett was awarded Best Actress for Woody Allen's Blue Jasmine.
Other winners included Robert Redford for All is Lost and director Steve McQueen for 12 Years a Slave, starring Brad Pitt.

American Hustle reunites him with Silver Linings Playbook director David O'Russell and co-star Jennifer, and is due to hit cinemas on 14 December.
Christian Bale - who also stars in the film - recently revealed that his wife is responsible for his role in the movie.
The Dark Knight star admits that as a perfectionist he worried he wouldn't have enough time to prepare for his role in the '70s crime drama, as well as a role in Terrence Malick's 'Knight of Cups', but his spouse Sibi Blazic urged Malick and 'Hustle' director David O'Russell to keep pestering him to commit to the films.
Bale revealed: 'With Hustle, I needed a lot of time to prepare and just didn't think I could do it properly. And I would come home to post-it notes on my door from David saying, 'Come on, let's do this!'
'Without telling me, my wife called them both and said, 'Yeah, he can do it.'
The FBI agent: Bradley Cooper plays fed Richie DiMaso, who forces Rosenfeld in the underworld
The hustler: Christian Bale plays Irving Rosenfeld, a con man forced to work with the FBI.
