It will be a hot Christmas in Barbados for Rihanna who returned home on Saturday, where she appeared keen to change into much more appropriate attire.
The superstar singer shared a number snaps as she relaxed in a patterned bikini with her mother, ahead of the holidays.
Despite wearing very little make-up, the 25-year-old posted two selfies on her Instagram page in her brown two-piece, while showing off her numerous tattoos.

The star held her hand to her face in the picture, while her curly hair was tied up in a high ponytail, displaying her large hoop earrings.
Rihanna wrote: 'She Heauxm #Rasta', while sporting a number of chunky bracelets, necklaces and rings.
She also shared a picture of 'Mama Fentz', before commenting on the low temperatures she'd happily left behind in New York and LA while adding a snap of her own version of a snowman.

Rihanna had been flashing the flesh in a cropped top and tiny shorts as she swaggered around New York while debuting a new curly hair do.
The star showed off her svelte body in a midriff-baring top despite the plummeting temperatures in Manhattan on Friday.
The Monster hit maker walked behind several bodyguards as she made her way to a club late at night.

Wearing a jumper from her own River Island collection the star also wore cut-off denim shorts and shiny black boots.
Pairing her skimpy outfit with a seemingly sensible black overcoat the star looked a little miss-matched.
The overcoat sported long tassels off the bottom of the hem and the underneath of the sleeves giving the star more of a cowboy edge than catwalk chic.

Rihanna stepped out in New York as it’s reported that her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown is going to leave the rehab center he’s been living in to take part in a children’s charity event.
The star, who is one month into a three month court-ordered stay in rehab after being arrested in Washington last month, will be attending a Christmas gift-drive convincing people to leave gifts for underprivileged kids in Los Angeles.
Organisers are touting that fans who bring unwrapped gifts for donation will be able to meet the Grammy Award-winning star.

Chris' recent rehab stay was mandated by a Los Angeles judge after he was kicked out of another rehab centre in Malibu, California, after throwing a rock through his mother's car window.
The singer was on probation for a 2009 assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna at the time of his latest arrest and earlier this week, a judge revoked his freedom as the hotel altercation was deemed a violation of the terms of his probation.
Rather than being sentenced to jail, however, the judge will allow the singer to complete his rehab for anger management.
