Putting a brave face on: Corrie's Georgia May Foote celebrates a night out with the girls following split from fiancé John Sage
She has called time on her romance with long-term love, John Sage, ending their engagement.
But Coronation Street actress Georgia May Foote was putting a brave face on things on Thursday evening when she enjoyed a girls' night out in celebration of her birthday in Manchester.
The 24-year-old headed to Rosso Restaurant in Manchester and appeared to be in high spirits despite her recent heartache.

Georgia, whose birthday was actually on Wednesday, looked lovely in a pair of skinny jeans, worn with a simple black top and blazer and high platform heels by Christian Louboutin.
She celebrated her big day properly the week before - but no doubt she wanted her special day to continue with yet another outing.
Taking to Twitter on her birthday, she wrote: 'I have birthday pizza to get home toooo!!!!!' [sic]

She had her brunette locks styled into a chic blow-dried do and smiled at photographers as they exited the restaurant with a group of her friends.
It's all change for Georgia, who is filming her final scenes for the ITV soap, after almost five years as the tenacious Katy Armstrong.
According to The Sun, she surprised her cast mates at her recent leaving party, and insiders say she made the decision to focus on her Hollywood ambitions.

'She had her leaving do from Corrie last week. She was telling everyone they'd split up and she was looking forward to a future acting career in America,' a source told the paper's Dan Wootton.
'Everyone was very surprised because she has always been very happy with him and never been interested in a showbiz lifestyle.'
She had had been with plumber John, her childhood sweetheart, for years before becoming engaged in 2013.
