Bikini-clad Amy Childs showcases her lean physique on sunshine break in Cape Verde..

Testing the (political) climate: Bikini-clad Amy Childs showcases her lean physique on sunshine break in Cape Verde... before wading into benefits debate

The divisive political climate was traded for something a little more welcoming as Amy Childs topped up her tan during a recent break in tropical Cape Verde.
Sporting an embellished black and nude bikini, the 24-year-old boutique owner showcased a nicely toned body while reclining on a sun-lounger close to her hotel pool.
Amy completed her beach ready look with a jaunty straw Stetson and obligatory shades, but her immaculately applied make-up suggested swimming was not on the agenda.

With sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean providing a spectacular backdrop, the former TOWIE star kicked back and relaxed as temperatures soared on Sal in the popular island archipelago.
Amy later covered up by pulling an Aztec print gown over her upper body before padding back to The Resort Group’s Melia Dunas Hotel in her bare feet.
The businesswoman also revealed her signature burgundy locks, but it would prove to be their last public appearance prior to her dyeing them back to their original brunette over the weekend.

Amy's break came shortly before she offered surprisingly strong opinions regarding mansion tax, unemployment benefit and the election debate.
'Our country needs to be working,' she told The Sun. 'Money isn't going to come out of nowhere. I am in the highest tax bracket.
'But why am I paying 45% tax and doing all of this work to pay for people that are having loads of children?'

During a candid rant the TV personality also swiped at a family member, adding: 'I love my auntie more than anything but she lives off benefits.
'She has nine children and that is her life. Sometimes people like that upset me.
'I look at her and she's had a lot of money from the Government. And there's me working my a*** off. I meet her friends and they're on benefits. Some don't want to work. It comes down to laziness.'
