She's just finished playing a downbeat young mother in a period drama set in the 1930's.
So it's no wonder that Selena Gomez wanted to up the glamour on Thursday when she shared steamy pictures from a sexy photoshoot.
Wearing a white swimsuit which showed off her impressive cleavage, the singer posed in a swimming pool for the shots which she captioned, 'Backyard sessions wit my boo @byjakebailey - photo by Jake'.

A second shot was captioned, 'Make up and photography by @byjakebailey', in which the 22-year-old is seen seductively looking up at the camera as she shows off her bare back while waist-deep in the water.
Celebrity make-up artist and photographer Jake has previously worked with Katy Perry, Kristen Stewart and Paris Hilton.
The multihypenate entertainer slicked back her long brunette tresses, and sported a smokey-eye.
She drew attention to her perfectly made-up face by holding her hands to her head.
Her cheekbones were sculpted with bronzer and red lips completed the spicy look.
The ex-girlfriend of Justin Bieber was all dolled-up for the provocative photos, which no doubt will bring a smile to rumoured beau Zedd's face.

Selena has been filming In Dubious Battle in Atlanta Georgia, where she plays young mother Lisa London in the onscreen adaptation of the 1936 novel by John Steinbeck.
In addition to her dramatic movies, the star is anticipating the September 25 release of the animated sequel Hotel Transylvania 2 in which she reprises her voiceover role of Mavis.
Music wise, her dance single I Want You To Know with Zedd continues to stay on the Billboard Hot 100 charts for its sixth week.
