Kirsty Gallacher is the fifth celebrity to leave Strictly Come Dancing after facing Jamelia in the dreaded dance-off

'She deserves to be here more than me': Kirsty Gallacher is the fifth celebrity to leave Strictly Come Dancing after facing Jamelia in the dreaded dance-off

Her performance was described as a 'mess' on Saturday night.
And it seems that the public agreed with the judges, as Kirsty Gallacher, 39, became the fifth celebrity - and the first woman - to leave Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday night.
Facing Jamelia, 34, in the dance-off, all four judges opted to save the Loose Women panellist - sending the Sky Sports presenter home.

Before finding out she'd be dancing for her place in the competition, the former pop princess found herself in the safe confines of the middle of the leaderboard with a solid 26 points after an energetic Jive.
But it wasn't enough to win over the public as, with the points combined with the judges' scores, she faced the dreaded dance-off for a third time.
Speaking on Sunday, Jamelia said: 'I think I've come to the conclusion that maybe the public don't like me. They're not voting. I just want to show the judges what I can do.'

Her dance partner Tristan MacManus defended her, saying: 'They love you so much, they just want to see you again.'
Tess Daly argued that perhaps the viewers felt that because she was in the middle of the leaderboard, they didn't need to vote for her.
Darcey Bussell advised her, before her performance: 'Don't forget to breathe, or get overexcited. The dance has to build. But you were rocking it.'
Bruno added: 'I don't understand, you shouldn't be here. Your timing was very good, you're likable. You just need to sharpen those flicks. As a performer, as a concept, it was great.'
Kirsty was second to find out she'd be in the dance-off, and landed second from the bottom of the leaderboard on Saturday night after her Charleston with partner Brendan Cole earned them just 17 points.
