Strictly favourites Aliona Vilani and Jay McGuiness 'have had a series of intense rows after he texted show rivals'
They've been accused of being a little too flirtatious in the past - but Strictly Come Dancing's Aliona Vilani and Jay McGuiness have reportedly been arguing of late.
The Sun claims that Aliona, 31, wasn't impressed to discover that Jay, 25, has been texting their dance rivals, including Georgia May Foote, Ola Jordan and Kristina Rihanoff.
The paper adds that married Aliona has reportedly become very 'possessive' of Jay and she has gone on the 'warpath.'
Awkward! They've been accused of being a little too flirtatious in the past - but Strictly Come Dancing's Aliona Vilani and Jay McGuiness have reportedly been arguing of late, over him messaging other contestants
Not happy? The Sun claims that Aliona, 31, wasn't impressed to discover that Jay, 25, has been texting their dance rivals, including Georgia May Foote, Ola Jordan and Kristina Rihanoff (pictured)
A source said: 'She also hit the roof when he chatted to a girl in the bar by his hotel. She makes him sit with her the whole time and is very over-the-top.
'She was the same with previous dance partners as she believes that to win, couples have to be totally united. Jay’s starting to tire of it all.'
The reports come after the pair were pictured putting on quite the cosy display as they waited for their taxi outside the Pride of Britain awards on Monday evening.
Oh dear: Married Aliona has reportedly become very 'possessive' of Jay and she has gone on the 'warpath'
Clearly trying to stay warm in the cold, the former Wanted singer wrapped his arms around the Russian beauty, who was wearing his blazer.
Soon after the pictures emerged, Jay defended his budding relationship with the 31-year-old dancers, claiming she is ‘happily married’ to sales director Vincent Kavanagh.
However, on the show, the pair have been performing well.
On the Halloween special, the pair treated viewers to an effortlessly smooth American smooth, inspired by Little Red Riding Hood, which placed them in second place.
Bruno gushed: 'I love your lines. The elegance of your lines is just beautiful. It's wonderful,' with Craig adding: 'I really loved the lines, also. You point your feet beautifully.'
Darcy echoed her fellow judges' thoughts, branding the performance 'smooth and stylish'.
Jay has remained fairly quiet on Twitter over the last few days, last posting on October 29.
A couple of days before that, he was talking fashion with his followers.
Given the boot: Kirsty Gallacher, 39, became the fifth celebrity to leave Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday night
Fighting to stay: Jamelia looked absolutely elated to be staying in the competition after surviving the dance-off for a third time
He wrote: 'So my shirt tonight on "It Takes Two" was a gift from @SivaKaneswaran & @Nare_esha, I have had it for years, & it is my favourite.'
The star also made light of Bruno's reaction to his dance on the show, when he was so excited, he unwittingly swore.
Jay wrote: 'Hahaha! "The Bulls B***ocks" - I'm more than happy with that.'
But not everyone has been getting good results on the show.
Kirsty Gallacher, 39, became the fifth celebrity - and the first woman - to leave Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday night.
Last two: Facing Jamelia, 34, in the dance-off, all four judges opted to save the Loose Women panellist - sending the Sky Sports presenter home

Judge Bruno Tonioli told her: 'You made mince meat out of that. What a mess.'
Speaking before the dance-off, Kirsty said: 'I know what I did wrong and I have to rectify that immediately. I want to stay.'
Craig advised her: 'This is a perfect opportunity, a second chance to show the world exactly what you're made of. Be strong and be proud of yourself.'
Len added: 'Rectify the mistakes and the swivel, come out and give it your all. Go on girl.'
Other celebrities to already leave the competition include Iwan Thomas, Anthony Ogogo, Daniel O'Donnell and Ainsley Harriott.
A source also said: 'She also hit the roof when he chatted to a girl in the bar by his hotel. She makes him sit with her the whole time and is very over-the-top'
