Emilia Clarke is ravishing in a plunging scarlet gown as she joins Game Of Thrones' co-star Gwendoline Christie at the BAFTAs

One plays the mother of dragons, while the other assumes the role of a feisty warrior.
Yet Emilia Clarke and Gwendoline Christie left their Game Of Thrones alter egos behind them to storm the red carpet at the EE BAFTA Film Awards 2016 on Sunday.
The 29-year-old Londoner looked sensational in a bright red plunging gown while Gwendoline, 37, went for a floor-sweeping purple gown for the event at the historic Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.

Emilia, who plays Daenerys Targaryen in the HBO series, looked amazing in the bright red gown which featured a plunging neckline with a unique double shoulder strap detail.
The dress was fitted to the knee until it flicked out slightly in a fishtail hem which billowed in the breezy weather while she clutched a small red handbag which perfectly matched her dress.

Her minuscule waist was the central feature of the figure-hugging gown while a subtle hint of cleavage added a sophisticated yet sexy feel to the gown.
The beautiful star kept her make-up muted while adding a dab of matte taupe lipstick to highlight her plump pout as her deep brunette locks fell in large waves.

Gwendoline, who nabbed the role of Brienne of Tarth, oozed elegance as she draped her statuesque six foot two frame in a stunning purple gown which nipped in at the waist with a white band.
The Worthing-born beauty opted to keep her alabaster skin muted and tan free, which added a sophisticated high-fashion edge to the look.
Her trademark blonde bob was worn in a sweeping side parting which was blow-dried to tuck in beneath her ears.
