There's no doubt Jennifer Lawrence looked as glamorous as ever on Tuesday as she promoted her upcoming movie Passengers.

But the actress revealed a little more than she bargained for when she posed for photos at the Sony presentation at CinemaCon 2016 in Las Vegas.

Wearing a dress consisting of flimsy black material at the top, the Joy star was likely regretting not wearing a bra as the harsh lighting revealed the garment to be semi-sheer.

Nevertheless, the 25-year-old Oscar-winner oozed confidence as she posed backstage at the event.

An embellished paneled skirt and beaded strappy heels added a boho touch to her look and she wore her lightened locks pinned back off her face.

During the night she teamed up with her Passengers co-star Chris Pratt as the duo talked enthusiastically about the sci-fi adventure flick which is set for release in December.

Variety reports that the audience were dazzled by the brief preview they got to see of space travel movie on Tuesday.

Lawrence and Pratt play two volunteers sent into space with their bodies suspended in hibernation pods as they embark on a 120-year journey to the Homestead Colony.

Academy Award-nominated director Morten Tyldum (The Imitation Game) is at the helm of the project which Sony hopes will be a blockbuster hit.

During the presentation Sony Pictures chief Tom Rothman promised Passengers is for 'those of us who love movies in movie theaters.'
