Ariana Grande squirms in her seat when Ellen asks if she's dating Mac Miller... but then confirms it

'This is so crazy. I wasn't prepared!': Ariana Grande squirms in her seat when Ellen asks if she's dating Mac Miller... but then confirms it

Rumours have been swirling for some time that Ariana Grande is dating her longtime friend, rapper Mac Miller.
And on Wednesday, Ellen DeGeneres finally wrung a public confirmation from the 23-year-old.
The Into You singer instantly grew sheepish when the subject arose during her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, but once the hostess asked outright whether Grande and Miller were happily dating, her guest replied: 'Oh, yeah, thanks.'

It was the 58-year-old, sporting a green and blue tartan bomber jacket with grey sleeves, who first broached the topic, saying: 'Let's talk about your love life. Can we? Do you mind?'
A flustered Grande launched into a stream of: 'Oh, my God! Oh, God, I do - I don't know, man. This is so crazy. I wasn't prepared....'
The Metairie native eventually clarified: 'The thing is, the guy that you're with is Mac Miller, right?' prompting the Break Free singer to lift her hands over her mouth and fret: 'Oh, my God, is this coming out?'
DeGeneres and Grande then reminisced about the occasion in 2013 when the Boca Raton native had appeared with Miller on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and performed her single The Way, which featured him. 'We were babies,' said Grande.
Bashful: The 23-year-old was quite sheepish when her romance was brought up, fretting: 'Oh, my God, is this coming out?'

'And I asked you - I asked you something about him,' said the chat-show dynamo, 'and you said, "Oh, you know, I'm his homie," and now he's living in your homie.'
A clip of that 2013 performance played behind the two women as they spoke. The Focus songstress' discomfort was palpable as she noted: 'This is so crazy. I've never, like, had the relationship talk on a show before.'
'It's just me so far,' Ellen vamped. 'You haven't joined in.' When she eventually did prod: 'But you're with him, right? And you're happy and stuff?' her guest offered: 'Oh, yeah, thanks,' before burying her head in her hands.
For her spot on the NBC programme, the Victorious actress wore a shining, oversize grey anorak over nothing but a black and white sports bra.
Nailing down the facts: Yet when the 58-year-old asked point black if the Into You singer and the rapper were 'together' and 'happy,' her guest replied: 'Oh, yeah, thanks'

Her impressively flat midriff was framed on the other end by a pair of high-waisted black trousers with glittering black and silver fringe.
A black choker accessorised the ensemble, and with most of her hair pulled back into a neat ponytail, she let her tousled bangs fall forward almost over her eyes. Black platform stilettos completed the look.
The interview also touched on Grande's performance last month at the MTV Video Music Awards in Madison Square Garden.
She and Nicki Minaj had lit up the stage with a rendition of Side To Side - a single by the former, featuring the latter. The Sam & Cat actress and her backup dancers spent a portion their stage time on stationary exercise bicycles.

After DeGeneres commended the Problem singer on having sung live at the VMAs, rather than lip-syncing, she mentioned that singing whilst cycling might have left her 'out of breath.'
'It was definitely tiring,' Grande conceded, 'but I was like, "You know what? It's worth it. I need to be on a bike. So, I reall- I committed to it, stuck with it, had the idea of the bike thing the first time I heard Nicki's verse. And she says the phrase, "d*** bicycle." And the idea was born and I really committed to it, and I....'
The wife of Portia de Rossi grew increasingly flummoxed as she tried to ascertain what exactly a 'd*** bicycle' is. Even the Bang Bang singer was at a loss for a definite answer.
'Is that like a banana seat?' offered the erstwhile Oscars hostess, laughing.
Taking the stage: The songstress also performed a medley of her songs Side To Side and Into You

'Kind of,' said the Love Me Harder singer, but when DeGeneres asked: 'Really?' she backtracked, saying: 'I don't know, actually.'
As the conversation continued, the Mr Wrong star quipped: 'This is totally different than the Hillary interview.'
The singer riposted: 'Yeah, it'd be wild if next time you see her, you asked her about a d*** bicycle.'
Also on the programme, the singer treated the audience to an electrifying medley of Side To Side and Into You, both from her latest album, Dangerous Woman, which was released this May.
