Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt hatch escape plan as spaceship hurtles towards planet in new Passengers trailer

'You die, I die!' Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt hatch escape plan as spaceship hurtles towards planet in new Passengers trailer

They play travelers on a space ship who are accidentally awoken 90 years too early from hibernation in their new sci-fi thriller, Passengers.
And a new trailer for the film shows just how high the stakes are for Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt's characters, as the space ship they are travelling on hurtles towards a fiery planet.
The actors watch on in horror as their ship embarks on a collision course straight towards the orb.

The trouble begins after Aurora (Jennifer, 26) and Jim Preston (Chris, 37) are arisen in the middle of their 120 year long hibernation, leaving them the only two awake on the spaceship.
They decide to hatch an escape plan, but their mission is nearly thwarted by numerous malfunctions, including a power outage, gravity failure, and of course the incoming planet.
'Something's wrong,' Jim says ominously as he senses trouble looming. 'Something big.'
'What do we do now?' Aurora asks after several malfunctions.
