More Celebs on the Bafta Television Awards Red , White and Blue Carpet

From Corrie to classy: An elegant Katherine Kelly leads the patriotic carpet glamour in a sexy black dress at the BAFTA TV Awards

She bid farewell to the cobbles of Coronation Street earlier this year to tread the boards at the National Theatre.
But tonight gave Katherine Kelly a chance to catch up and have a night out with all her old soap comrades - even if she was in danger of taking the red carpet glory.
Miss Kelly, 32, looked sensational as she arrived at the BAFTA TV Awards in a very elegant and chic strapless black dress.

As she stopped and posed for the cameras outside the Royal Festival Hall in London, she showed off her slender frame in the stunning frock  by couture designer Marina Qureshi.
But as she spun round, she showed off the back which revealed that it was a lace dress with a black chiffon overlay.

And although she hasn't been in Corrie since January, she was there to cheer on her friends and former castmates who were going head-to-head in the Soap and Continuing Drama category with EastEnders, Holby City and Shameless.
Katherine, who played Becky McDonald for six years, was joined by current star Michelle Keegan, who was without beau Max George from boyband The Wanted but proved she can dazzle just as well on her own.

Her co-star Paula Lane, who plays Katherine's half-sister Kylie Turner, was also attending and flashed a sexy pose over her shoulder as she arrived in a backless black dress, and Natalie Gumede, who plays Kirsty Soames, also looked elegant in a lack lace dress with a huge split up the front.

And the glorious warm climes meant the ladies could really show off on the red carpet without the risk of shivering or getting wet.
But it wasn't all about the girls and even the boys managed to scrub up nicely for the occasion.
