A true Southern Belle: Chloe Moretz stuns in black-and-white dress as she returns to her hometown of Atlanta for screening of The Equalizer
Chloe Moretz has spent the last few years in Los Angeles, but she grew up in Atlanta, Georgia.
So it's no surprise the 17-year-old actress looked right at home during a screening of her new film The Equalizer while in that historic city.
The star smiled happily as she worked the red carpet in a short black-and-white dress.

Pointy black pumps added five extra inches to her petite frame. She wore no jewelry except a pair of earrings.
The blonde wore her long locks parted in the middle and styled in soft barrel curls. Her makeup was modest but flattering with light eyeshadow and pink lipstick.
Ludacris was also on hand to help her promote the new movie which will be released in the US on September 26.

While Chloe was in George, her co-star Denzel Washington was promoting the action-packed movie in Berlin.
Wearing a black sweatshirt with wrinkled jeans and black-and-white sneakers, he was far more dressed down than his female lead.
Moretz gushed about working with the legend, tweeting, “My fav part was getting to play opposite Denzel [Washington], he’s really a master class in acting (sic).'

'The chance to work opposite Denzel and Antoine (Fuqua) was one in a lifetime,' she said in another message.
The film is a big-screen version of the hit TV show. Washington plays a commando who comes out of hiding to rescue a young girl and battle Russian baddies.
Chloe’s had quite a unique career already having been in everything from Kick-Ass to Dirty Sexy Money to Muppets Most Wanted.

The star was featured on the cover of Teen Vogue's October Young Hollywood edition and revealed in an interview what she likes most about her rumored boyfriend Brooklyn.
'What I find really interesting about Brooklyn – and what I really love about that kid – is that he is passionate about what he wants, which is to be a professional soccer player,' she told the monthly.

'And I enjoy someone who is on my level with the seriousness kind of thing,' she added.
Chloe and Brooklyn, 15, have been spending time together skateboarding and going to spin class. And when it comes to going out, the young actress reveals she is very responsible.
'I've never been the kid who wants to do crazy stuff,' she said. 'I tell my mom where I'm going. It's a pool party – I'm sure people are going to be drinking. But I'm not going to be drinking. I have a control issue. I like knowing who's around me.'
On Monday, Chloe landed in Atlanta to begin work on her new project, The Fifth Wave, which follows the story of a young girl during an alien invasion who goes searching for her little brother, according to MTV.com.
The If I Stay star told the website that she became interested in the role because it was unlike other films.
'It’s a lot more in-depth than "I love this boy" or "I love this guy,"' she said. 'It’s realistic again, which is why I haven’t done any of these YA projects until now.
