Ferne McCann is attending the 68th Cannes Film Festival with high hopes of making a splash in Hollywood.
But the Essex girl looked like a small - and perfectly formed - fish in a big pond on Tuesday as she turned her attentions to the yacht life, just off the coast of Southern France.
The 24-year-old was living it up aboard a sunliner in her skimpy bikini, having penned in a meeting with the director of New Media Law, Ian Penman, for a new film role.

Confirming the news on Wednesday, Ian said: 'We are currently negotiating something for Ferne in Cannes.'
Things were looking so promising that Ferne had even been invited onto the company's private yacht for the day - and she couldn't hide her glee.
Newly-single Ferne had plenty to celebrate and seemingly really let her hair down during the sun-soaked day aboard the luxury liner.
The reality TV star confidently frolicked on the boat in just a sporty black two piece that provided the perfect cut for her toned form.

While she might be a regular face on reality show The Only Way Is Essex, Ferne showed she's pretty well connected.
The group, including a chatty, giggly Ferne, were ferried to the yacht by a separate transportation vessel and were even treated to a lavish lunch in the sun.
Sticking to her wholesome roots, Ferne wore high street fashion for the important meeting and stepped out in a gorgeous striped skirt with a white top, all of which she later shed for a carefree bikini.
Her ex-boyfriend at home would no doubt have plenty to say about the TOWIE star's easy breezy demeanour, since she seemed to have left her co-stars and friends behind for the important career-boosting week away.

She previously said she was 'heartbroken' when he ended the six-year relationship, but later blasted him for being too 'controlling'.
Free from inhibitions now and aboard the impressive boat by special invitation, fun-loving Ferne was all smiles and giggles, challenging a fellow revellers to a diving contest and jumping feet first into the sea with reckless abandon.

No doubt Ferne has impressed movie bosses with her 'acting skills' on TOWIE and is keen to make her move to the big screen.
After starting her evening in a pair of gold strappy heels, the single reality star had to slip them off and carry them in her hand as she made it back to dry land.

While she hasn't yet spilled on why she is in Cannes, she has instead been keeping her followers abreast of the lovely meals she has been eating while she is away.

Ferne recently told Reveal magazine that she wasn't opposed to finding love, saying: ''If there is a hot guy that catches my eye then of course. [But] I'm more concentrating on myself.'
