Model Ashley Graham launches 'sexy and supportive' plus-size lingerie line inspired by Fifty Shades of Grey

Size 16 model Ashley Graham is set to launch a collection of bondage-inspired lingerie in the U.S. this summer.
Designed with Fifty Shades of Grey in mind, the bras, underwear, chemises and kimonos will be priced under $100 and will start at size 12, according to WWD.
The 28-year-old, who has been designing her own lingerie for Canada's Addition Elle since 2013, said she wanted to launch the line in the U.S. after noticing a void in the market for plus-size lingerie.

'I could find sexy bras and I could find supportive bras, but it was never sexy and supportive together,' explained the Nebraskan model.
The collection will be available on Nordstrom.com this August.
Ms Graham, an advocate for body diversity, is also part of the plus-size model collective ALDA, which includes successful international models Marquita Pring, Julie Henderson, Inga Eiriksdottir and Danielle Redman.
'ALDA is a new collective of models that represents beauty without divisions, boundaries, and - most importantly - beauty that doesn't conform to any body shape or size,' states the Alda website.

In an interview with Glamour magazine, Icelandic model Eiriksdottir explained: 'We had all worked together for many years before our agency closed a lot of their divisions including plus size, which is the one we were in.
'I contacted the girls I knew and the ones that had been the most successful in the business to see how we could, as a group, have impact on the business.'
She added: 'It's exciting to see the positive change in the industry, and we already see a lot more diversity in age, size and race than before in magazines and on the runways.'
